Prologue

Ok I'm starting a new story! Going to try to update it each week. Yes, this is a werewolf/shifter story, but it will not have any sparkling vampires. (No offense to Edward Cullen lol)

~PROLOGUE~

Across the hall, a young sixteen year old girl was watching the whole cheerleading team kiss and touch her mate.

She sees this everyday, but does nothing. She has not had her first shift yet, but she remembers the day he slammed her up against the lockers.

She felt tingles where he touched and she remembers how hard it was to watch her twin brother and his best friend, Jet, punch him in the face.

She felt sick when the girls touch him, especially when he knew they were mates. She knew she would have to get out of there before she did something she would regret.

She quickly grabbed her bag off the floor and ran to the parking lot. She was almost to her car when she heard them call her name.

"Dawn," she heard a voice call to her that sent shivers down her spine.

She turned to see him and his friends in a group, walking towards her. Her brother was towards the back of their group, but when he looked up at her, his eyes looked full of regret and sadness.

She looked at him for a second before she turned her attention back to Ash.

"What?" she asked warily because the look in my brothers eyes yelled 'run run' but she knew she couldn't run from everything.

More people came to look at what they were talking about. He just smirked and walked closer making her curious. He got incredibly close, blowing his minty breath in her face.

"Your fat and i dont love you or like you, so why dont you quit staring at me you fat ass!"He shouted and everybody roared with laughter.

She just turned away whipping a tear that came rolling down my cheek. She quickly jumped into the large limo that was parked to the side of the lot and rode all the way home promising that she wouldn't cry over that asshole. When the large gates opened up to her parents large mansion and they started driving up the circle drive thru, She got out and ran to the door. When she opened the door, she headed to her parents office.

"Dad.. Mom?" She cried and the door opened to some of the pack members that were sitting in front of her father's table.

Her mom grabbed her hand and brought her to the foyer, gentle wiping her tears. Her mother sat her on the couch and asked her whats wrong, concern clearly visible in her face. Dawn didn't answer. Instead, She lifted my head and sighed.

"Mom, I want to go to Blue Moon Boarding School,"She stated firmly.

She saw mom's face lit up instantly at the news. She had been encouraging her daughter to go to the same school she had went to when she was a teenager and where she met her father.

"Finally, are you sure? I mean we can always get you a plane to come back and you can even bring Charlie with you?"she started ranting. Ranting was something she did a lot. It

"Mom, yes I want to go and no I do not need to bring the butler with me!" Dawn stated with a firm look. Her mother finally went quiet before jumping up and screaming in excitement, making Dawn jump back.

"Epppp,ohh my gosh your going to learn all about shifting and then..... Ahhh"

Ok did not get the point...at all...

"Ok mom calm down before you have a heart attack,"Dawn tried grabbing her arm to stop her jumping.

"Whateves!!! Your mom is still hip"she yelled as she walked out the door causing Dawn to roll her eyes and laugh.

"Yeah in the 80's," Dawn muttered.

"I heard that,"her mother yelled down the hallway.
