Chapter 18

Chapter 18

~Dawn~

I woke up in the morning with my legs tangled with someone elses. I looked over to see my bestfriend's smiling face as he slept peacefully. He looked so innocent as he slept.

He had one arm behind my head and one around my waist. I quickly got up, removing his hand slowly. I covered him back up considering it was freezing.

I walked over to the window, peeking though the blinds. It's was as if we had a snow storm over night. The whole front yard was covered and frost was stuck to the glass.

I pressed my forehead against the window, feeling the coldness. I thought of Ash, wondering what he was doing.

I looked over at the clock on Jake's nightstand. It was 6:00 and a perfect time for a run.

I quickly headed to my room, pulling on some tight leggings, a giant hoodie that belonged to my brother, and some ugg boots.

I skipped down the stairs, taking two at a time. I was excited. This would be the first run I've been on since I've been back.

I grabbed a piece of toast, popping it in the toaster. I waited a few minutes as the toaster made a popping sound, making me jump from my thoughts. I grabbed the nutella out of the top cabinet, quickly spreading it over the toast.

I headed towards the forest around the back of the house, eating my wonderful piece of toast. As I made it behind the tree line, I stripped down. I put all my clothes in a log where I could find them on the way back.

I shifted into my snow white wolf, glad noone was around to see. I quickly ran away, Ash on my mind. I don't even know where I was heading, I was just running. I could'nt get him off my mind though. I don't know why. I knew I was mad at him, but I would have to forgive him sometime.

~Jake~

I woke up, the other side of the bed cold. I looked around the room, wondering where Dawn was.

The clock on my knight stand read 6:30. I walked over to the window, noticing it was snowing. My room was freezing. I took a shower, heading down stairs. I walked towards the kitchen, seeing a note stuck to the refrigerator.

It read:

Jake,

I went for a run, be back before 8. I might be late for school today.

Love,

Dawn.

I rolled my eyes, smiling. She was later for school everyday so why would it matter? I started making breakfast as I looked out the kitchen window. I was joined by Jet and Isabella, as the smell of bacon wafted through the air. "Hurry up, I'm hungry", Jet whined. Isabella slapped him across the back of the head, shutting him up. "You're so disrespectful", she grumbled at him.

"Dont even get me started on disrespectful, You eat tacos while teachers are trying to teach!"He argued back. She rolled her eyes, turning her seat towards him.

"Hey Jet", she said.

"Yeah..?"

"Shut the hell up"

"Okay", he mumbled, making her smirk.

"Your so whipped!"I laughed as he glared at me, playfully.

"Yeah, yeah you shut the hell up too."

~Jet~

I stared at the beautiful redhead in front of me, quickly falling in love with her more each day. She was short tempered, gorgeous, funny, and sweet.. Some of the times.

~Ash~

I got ready for school, thinking about Dawn. I had to apologize. I was such a douche. I had no right to get mad over Jet, I mean technically she is not even mine... Yet.

I had a plan to make her fall for me by the end of the year. A plan to get her to be my girl for the rest of my life. It consisted of me being sweet, being nice to her bestfriend and family, and just making sure I don't screw this up again. If I did, I didn't see a reason to be here. Before I left the house, I grabbed my guitar and bag. This plan would start today.
