I woke up to the smell of bacon and eggs. Bacon always woke me up in the morning which is why my mother usually made it on weekdays. I got up and pulled on a cute mint romper with a bow in the back, I straightened my chestnut colored hair and put on some makeup to accent my hazel eyes. “Ashley! Breakfast!” My mother called. “Coming!” I yelled back. I threw my textbooks into my purse and ran down the stairs. “Good morning hunny! You look beautiful today!” She said eyeing me up and down. “Thanks mom. You too.” I said taking a seat at the breakfast bar. My mother really did look beautiful. Her blonde hair was in a cute bun and she wore a tight fitted black dress. “Laura have you seen brief case?” My father said coming down from the stairs. His brown hair was messy as always but he had a charming business suit on. I assumed he had a meeting today. He was the CEO of some company that I didn’t even bother to know the name of. “No dear.” My mother said back. Just as my mom set down my plate of first I heard a honk outside. “That’s Sara!” I cried, jumping up and grabbing my purse. “Your food!” My mother cried as I was about to leave. I spun around on my heels and grabbed the pieces of bacon that was on my plate then gave my mom a quick kiss on the cheek. “Bye love you.” I said quickly. “Bye dad, love you.” I cried before heading out the door.

“Hey Sara.” I said getting into the car. “Hey!” I couldn’t help but be jealous of her. Her bleach blonde hair hung in perfect spiral curls and they headed at her lower back, mine was little shorter but still! She had beautiful electric blue eyes and a perfect figure. My figure wasn’t bad but I mean she had a figure to die for. “Ready?” She asked as I put on my seatbelt. “Yep.” I said before we pulled away. “Ughh!” Sara sighed. “What is it?” I asked. “I have math for two periods this morning!” She did not sound happy. Her parents made her take AP math and she absolutely hated it. She would mostly talk about she couldn’t wait until the semester was over so she never had to go back to that class again. “I like school.” I admitted truthfully. I did actually like school. “Yeah that’s because you have a smoking hot football player boyfriend.” She said. I laughed. “Well that is part of it.” She rolled her eyes at me and turned up the radio and we jammed out to music all the way to school.

“Hey babe!” I heard as I stepped out of the car. I turned around to see my boyfriend of two years, Aaron. Aaron Mathews. “Hey baby!” I said as he pulled me into a hug and a kiss. We had been together for two years. Everyone doubted that we would last as long as we have. We had been through everyone together and I had no doubt that one day I would marry him.

“See you tonight!” Aaron said as the first bell rang. We didn’t have many classes together, maybe one or two. “Of course.” He gave me a quick kiss then headed to his class. He was taking me to a fancy dinner tonight. I couldn’t understand why because nothing special was coming up, but when I asked him all he said was because he loved me. I took my seat in AP English just as the bell went. “Good thing you’re not late again Ms. Johnson. “ Mr. Smith, my English teacher said without even looking around. I had a tendency to be late to this class nearly every time I had it. If I wasn’t late I was the last person in class. I just sat in my desk without saying word. Mr. Smith started going on about some gibberish literature thing but I wasn’t listening, all I could think about was tonight and what Aaron had planned for us.

“Mom do I look ok?” I asked my mom. “You look beautiful.” She smiled and pulled me into a hug. Aaron said to dress fancy because the restaurant was for sure high class, so I had my hair in curls and my makeup was smokey. I was wearing a black dress that had cut outs just under my bra and it showed off my cleavage. It was definitely sexy. Just then the doorbell rang. I went over and opened it to see Aaron standing with a bouquet of roses, my favourite. “Aaron!” I cried as I took the flowers out his hand, they smelled amazing. I put the flowers down then pulled him in for a kiss. “Ready to go?” He asked. I nodded. He took my hand in his and we headed out the door. “Have fun!” My mom called from behind us.

We were stopped at an intersection as a group of kids crossed in front of us. Aaron took my hand in his and drove when the light went green. I turned my head to look out the window when I scream. “Aaron! Look out!” I saw a big truck headed towards us, head on. I put my hand over my face, and then the impact hit us. The car flipped. All I could hear was screams and cries. I went to wipe what felt like sweat off of my forehead. I pulled my hand back and realized it wasn’t sweat, it was blood. I screamed. “Ahh!” I started to sob. I looked over at Aaron who was motionless in the driver’s seat. “Aaron!” I cried, shaking him. No response. “Aaron!” I cried again. I suddenly felt really tired. “Aaron!” I managed to make out before everything around me turned to black.
