'How about that one?' I asked pointing a finger at the advert in the newspaper. 'Sweetie, that's in Miami.' Stiles noticed. 'I know.' I shrugged. 'It has a Jacuzzi, a pool table... And it's always sunny. It's perfect!' I said. Stiles shot me a glare. 'And beyond possible for us to afford. We're not going to Miami.' He said. I rolled my eyes. Stiles sighed before speaking again. 'I found some cool three bedrooms in the Mission district, but they're pretty expensive. A couple in Haigh and Ashbury, also very expensive.' He sighed. 'What about Berkeley? Don't a lot of students live around there?' My brother asked, he was sitting on the hood of Stiles' jeep as him and I were standing next to it. Stiles shrugged. 'Yeah, yeah, we could try Nob Hill. But, the jeep would probably burn through a lot of clutches.' He said. 'You're bringing the jeep?' My brother asked with raised eyebrows. 'Oh please don't...' I sighed lowering my head onto the hood. Stiles sighed. 'You know the plan, okay? No one gets left behind. That's the plan. Lydia's not gonna have a problem getting into Stanford, Kira's thinking USF.' He said. 'And Malia...well, she'll figure something out. If I have to I'll hide her in my suitcase.' I grinned. 'See, the plan's perfect!' Stiles said. 'Or we could begin with actually getting into college and then figure out where to live.' Scott noticed. 'I have a vision, dude. Okay, and it's a beautiful vision. Don't ruin the vision.' Stiles said and both my brother and I rolled our eyes. 'We could check the east bay.' I suggested. 'Yeah, we haven't looked in Oakley yet.' Stiles added. Thunder sounded in the distance and when I looked up I was met with the full moon. 'You alright? Starting to feel it?' Stiles asked looking between my brother and myself. 'Nah, just thinking.' Scott said. 'About what?' Stiles asked. 'Senior year.' He replied. Stiles grinned. 'Senior year. Come one, that's, that's nothing. That's gonna be easy.' He said. Scott shook his head. 'It's more like something Deaton told me once.' He began. 'You ever hear of regression to the mean?' He asked us. We both shook our heads. 'It was his way of saying that life can't always be all bad, or all good. You know, eventually things have to come back to the middle.' He told us. 'So think about the last few months, things have been good, right? But not amazing.' He continued. 'Yeah, but no one's tried to kill us for six months either.' Stiles said. 'Right, we've been pretty much in the middle for a while.' Scott replied. 'Which means at some point the scale has to tip on way or the other.' He said. 'Things are either gonna get really good again.' I said. 'Or really bad.' Stiles sighed. More thunder sounded and lightning appeared in the sky. My eyes widened when I suddenly remembered something. 'Hey eh... guys. You think it's been long enough?' I asked. 'Yes!' It sounded from behind me and I turned around with a grin plastered on my face. Liam only glared. 'Hey! Trying to have an adult conversation over here!' Stiles called to Liam who was chained up against a tree. He rolled his eyes. 'Okay, you're two years older than me.' He shot back. 'Which makes you two years younger than us. Good counting sweetheart.' I smiled and gave him a thumbs up. 'Not funny. Either way, I'm fine. So could you please just let me go?' He sighed. Scott jumped off the hood and walked over to him with the key in his hand. 'It's not that we don't trust you...' He began. 'I don't trust you.' Stiles pointed out and I nudged his side. 'But after the last full moon...' Scott said. 'It was one slip up.' Liam said. 'Slip up? A dozen calls to the sheriff's department about a monstrous dog running around the streets of Beacon Hills naked, that's a slip up?' Stiles asked. I crossed my arms over my chest. 'Why were you naked?' I asked raising an eyebrow. 'It was really hot out that night. Let me go?' Liam replied. 'You sure you're okay?' Scott asked. 'It won't happen again.' Liam replied with a shake of his head. 'You're in complete and total control?' I asked him. He nodded. 'Yeah, complete and total.' He replied. Scott nodded and dropped the chains. Stiles put them back in the bag and they both walked back to the jeep. I sighed and turned back towards Liam. I shook my head. 'What?' He questioned. I reached down the grab his hand, when I opened it I saw blood from the claws. He quickly pulled his hand back. 'Don't worry, I won't tell. Just tell me as soon as you're not okay.' I told him and he nodded. 'Thanks.' He said. I smiled it off and walked back to the car where me and Liam got into the backseat.
'Is it a party?' Liam asked once we were back on the road. He was asking about the senior scribe which we were attending. But not Liam. Him we were dropping off at the hospital where he can wait for his father. 'It's not a party.' Stiles replied. 'What's at midnight?' Liam then asked. 'Your bedtime.' Stiles replied and I couldn't help but giggle. 'Why aren't the girls going?' Liam asked. 'They're meeting us there and just stop with the questions, okay? It's a senior thing, you'll know when you're a senior.' Stiles replied. Liam sighed and leaned back. I patted his shoulder. 'Not fun being the puppy wolf is it?' I asked and I swear if eyes could kill, I couldn't be more dead right now. 'Hey, are any of you guys having trouble with your phone?' Scott asked and as soon as those words left his mouth Jackie decided to die again. I groaned. 'Stiles, I'm slowly getting to the point where I'm gonna drive this thing down a cliff.' I sighed. He glared before getting out. 'He out of gas?' Liam asked me. 'Nah, this thing just runs on tape for about 88 %.' I shrugged before getting out as well. The hood was already up and my brother had his eyebrows raised at the amount of duck tape under it. Stiles sighed. 'It's the last night of summer. I just wanted to make sure everyone was there tonight.' He said. 'We'll make it.' I assured him. 'You got any tools?' Scott asked and Stiles replied by holding up a roll of duck tape. Scott couldn't help but grin. 'I swear to god babe, as soon as I get a job I'm buying you a new car.' I sighed. 'Don't you even dare, I will never abandon this jeep, you hear me!' Stiles shot back and I rolled my eyes. 'This thing will kill you someday, you know that right?' I asked. 'Hey guys!' Liam suddenly called. 'Yeah, just give us a second okay!' Stiles yelled. Suddenly lightning struck right behind us and we spun around. 'That was close.' Scott noticed. 'Nice observation Sherlock.' I said. The jeep then suddenly turned on and Liam hung his upper body out of the window. 'Can we go now?'
We pulled up on the side of the road where we found Malia and her dad. I quickly climbed between the two front seats, over Stiles and hung out of the window. 'Hey Mal, hey Mr. Tate!' I called and waved. 'Good evening to you too, Samantha.' He greeted me and smiled at his daughter before walking away. 'Your dad's cool. Now get in we're gonna be late!' I said causing Malia to roll her eyes. As soon as she got in the car we all looked at her. 'What?' She questioned. 'Did you find out yet?' I asked her. 'Find out what?' Liam asked not quite following. 'They're gonna e-mail me.' Malia shrugged. 'Is this about summer school?' Liam asked and Malia's eyes widened. 'You told him?'
'Oh no, all they said was that you had to go to summer school cause the principal said your test results weren't good enough and you might have to repeat junio...' Liam shrugged and I quickly placed my hand over his mouth. 'We should've left him chained to that tree...' Stiles sighed.

I was waiting by a desk in the hospital with Malia as Stiles was down the hallway waiting for my brother who actually just stepped out of the elevator. 'So you're sure, right? I mean, you don't have to do this just because of me.' Malia told me. I shook my head. 'Nah, it's fine. I think it's about time I get my driver's license anyways. And what better way to get it then together with your best friend, right?' I shrugged and Malia smiled in response. 'Why'd you never get it anyway?' She asked me. 'Too lazy.' I shrugged and she nodded like she should've known that. Stiles suddenly tapped my shoulder. 'Sammy, if you were going away and I told you "don't worry, go have fun." What would you think I was talking about?' He asked. I frowned a little. Odd question. 'Fun as in watching movies or sex with other guys?' I asked him. Stiles turned to my brother what a 'told you so' look and I shot Malia a confused look. 'Okay, now I'm worried.' Scott sighed. Just then our mom walked by along with some other people and a wounded guy. 'Mom, where's all this coming from?' I asked her. 'Major pile up on 1-15.' She told us. 'Okay, okay, there is only one way back into Beacon Hills from the airport.' Stiles noticed. '1-15.' Scott sighed. 'Kira's not gonna make it.' I said. 'I can get her.' Scott said already walking away. Halfway towards the door he turned back around. 'You guys head to the school, Lydia's probably already there. We'll meet you by midnight.' He said. 'How are you gonna get to her in the middle of a traffic jam?' Stiles asked him. 'We'll make it. Trust me.' He said before walking outside.
