Strangers in Love (A Ross Lynch Fanfic)

Chapter 12 - YOU CAN'T RIDE A BIKE?

After a few more minutes of kissing Ross, I finally pulled away to breathe. We were both breathing really heavily, and my heart was racing. I leaned in one more time and we had one last long, lingering kiss before I pulled away again. I sighed happily and we sat on the bed, with his arm around my shoulder. I laid back on the bed and pulled him down too, and we looked into each other's eyes. 

"Ross.... I really like you." I whispered, looking away from him for a second. I wasn't ready to say I loved him yet, it was too soon, we'd only just met really. But I was sure that I really liked him, I hoped he liked me as much too...

"I really like you too Jenna." I said softly, making me look back into his eyes again. I smiled and he did too, and then we just stayed quiet for a while. My heart finally calmed down a bit, and my breathing slowed. We both fell asleep, and jolted awake at the sound of a knock on the door.

"Dinner!" Someone called from outside the door. We slowly rolled off Ross's bed and got up, and I smiled. I leaned in for a kiss, but then tricked Ross and just gave him a peck on the cheek and leaned away. 

"Hey!" He pretended to pout, and I giggled. He started walking toward me trying to be scary, and I squealed and unlocked the door, running outside. He chased after me down the stairs and to the table, where I hid behind Rydel. Everyone laughed as Ross tried to get around her to grab me, but I got away and sat at the table. Riker gave us a funny glance, but didn't say anything about seeing us kissing. Ratliff was there too, I guess he was just always there. I didn't mind, he was really funny. There was another girl at the table next to him, who looked a few years older than me. I smiled at her and sat down in front of her.

"Oh, Jenna this is my girlfriend Kelly!" Said Ellington with a smile, and I saw that they were holding hands. Awww! I said hi to her, and we talked about random stuff like music and movies for a while. We ate a great meal of hamburgers for dinner, then everyone went to the living room to watch a movie. Ellington and Kelly were sitting next to each other still holding hands. They were so cute together!

"What movie do you guys want to watch?" Asked Riker, and everyone called out movie names. 

"Inception!" someone said. 

I also heard these names called,

"The Dark Knight!"

"Mission Impossible!" 

"ROMEO AND JULIET!" 

That was Ross. I looked over at him, and he smiled sheepishly.

"It's such a good movie!" He said, and I laughed. What a weirdo. Well, he  was MY weirdo! 

We ended up watching Inception, which confused me completely again, but I still loved.

"What do you guys want to do tomorrow? We could do something as a family!" Said Stormie, and everyone nodded.

"We should ride our bikes to the beach!" Said Rydel, and everyone agreed.

"I don't have a bike.." I said, and Mark said they had an extra.

"Umm... actually I don't know how to ride a bike..." I whispered to Ross, and he said really loudly,

"YOU WHAT?"  I shushed him, and he still looked really confused.

"How do you not know how to ride a bike??" He asked me.

"I don't know... I just never learned." I said.

"I'm going to teach you how to ride a bike." He said. "Tomorrow morning, at nine AM okay?" 

I laughed and nodded.

"We'll all come with you!" Said Rydel with a smile.

"You're all just going to see me fail!" I pouted.

"Exatly!" Said Rocky, and we laughed.

"Hey, why don't I go out now and teach you the basics?" Asked Ross, with a wink that no one else saw but me.

I said yes, but then everyone decided to tag along except Ratliff and Kelly, who were leaving. Ross frowned and I smiled to myself. We agreed to be back in an hour, then got some bikes and went outside. All the guys were showing off, while Rydel and I laughed at them.  I got on a bike and tried to ride a little bit, but I was nervous and couldn't get my feet off the floor. Rocky was laughing at me, so I got off the bike and said,

"So, how about we run instead? I'll race you. And if I win you can't make fun of me for not knowing how to ride a bike!" I said, facing him.

"Okay, let's do this! But if I win, I can make fun of you all I want!" He said with a laugh, and we shook hands. Everyone came closer to watch. We decided to run around the block and see who got back first. Rydel counted down for us, and when it was time I ran as fast as I could. I loved running, and I was pretty fast. Rocky was ahead of me at first, but he got slower after a while and I kept my pace. He tried sprinting to the finish, but I went faster and beat him by a few seconds. Everyone cheered and crowded around me for a hug. I stood off to the side after that to catch my breath, then went to brag to Rocky. He was frowning, and I laughed.

"Ha! Well you can't make fun of me now!" I laughed, and he lightened up a little. I decided to run a lap to cool down so they wouldn't be as sore tomorrow from sprinting, and so I told them that and Ross joined me. We ran in silence for a minute, until we got out of range from the house and he grabbed my arm to stop me. I looked to see what he wanted, and he pulled me close to him and kissed me all of a sudden. I put my arms around his neck and kissed him back, until we finally both pulled away.

"What was that about?" I asked, and he said, "No reason." with a smile. I grinned he challenged me to a race for the rest of the way back. I was still out of breath but didn't want to say no so I agreed. He won (only because I was out of breath!) and when I got there everyone else had gone back inside with the bikes already. Ross waited until he saw me then started walking inside the house while I walked up the driveway. Suddenly, I heard a sound behind me and someone grabbed me around the waist and picked me up! I yelped in surprise, and Ross turned back to see what happened. I tried to scream but it came out muffled because of  the hand shoved in front of my mouth..... 

Hey guys! Hope you liked this chaper, tell me what you think! By the way, I just thought you guys should know that I accidentally named this chapter 15... I somehow skipped from 11 to 15 haha. But I fixed it so it's all good now :)

Oh, and if you guys have twitter accounts, I hope you'll all be doing the R5 hashtag thing next week! If you don't know, some rusher fans were going to try to trend a different bad hashtag for each member of R5 everyday because the voice is using R5's promos, but we're going to trend good R5 hashtags! (Sorry if my twitter language isn't right I'm kinda new to Twitter hahah)

But anyway, I hope you'll all help! We want to show R5 how much the R5Family loves themmm :) Let's get LOUD!
