Chapter 38- Down

Your footsteps echoed the hallway as you slowly made your way towards the door in front of you. Nervous, you closed your eyes and took a deep breath. As you exhaled deeply, you placed your hand on the handle and stood for a moment.

Is it really a bad idea?

Its not like you had any other choice. There's only one hallway and one door,and there was no turning back.

Opening your eyes,you sighed. Turning the nob,you heard a 'click' sound as you lightly pushed the door to open it widely. It's was dark, darker than the hallway you were just in.

"What is going on?" you asked yourself silently. Suddenly a giggle is heard from behind you,as you tried turning around, you feel yourself pushed into the room as the door is shutted loudly. You felt yourself fall onto what seemed the floor,but with some sort of liquid. Slowly standing up,you tried approaching the door by walking straight forward. A few moments past until you bumped into something. Touching the surface,you quickly reached the handle and started shaking it,trying your best to get out.

"Dammit!" You shouted and started kicking the door. As you kicked repeatedly, you felt yourself giving up. Kicking the door once more with all your might,you suddenly feel your foot hit nothing but air itself. Confused, you tried touching the door but you ended up touching nothing. Taking a step back,you tripped and fell butt first. Grunting,you sat there and stared at the darkness,it was just you and pure dark. Oh how much you enjoyed it. Being alone, having nothing to worry about,having nothing to think about,just a place to be calm.

Closing your eyes,you sighed deeply. Well,what now?

Suddenly you heard a loud noise was heard behind you,making you jump. Your eyes suddenly lid up and you turned around and to your sudden surprise, you weren't in the dark anymore.

Or alone.

As you stood up,just a few meters away a girl was sitting against the wall as her hands were on her head,mumbling stuff to herself. Slowly approaching her,she came to a sudden stop to her mumbling. Standing right before her,she slowly shifted her head to the left as she rested her hands on her lap.

"Who are you?" You asked but she sat there quietly. "Who are you?" You asked once more but a bit more demanding than before, but she continued to be silent. Growling, you kneeled down and grabbed her H/C hair,forcing her to look at you. Your E/C eyes made contact with her E/C orbs,her eyes red and puffy,you could quickly tell she was crying moments ago.

"Who are you?" You asked her with a growl,hopefully she would answer this time. To your surprise, she giggled. Her lips curled up to a small smile as another giggle escaped her mouth.

"How do you not remember your own self?" She whispered out,clearly audible. Confused,you let go of her hair and backed away. She continued to giggle until she finally stopped and said "Remember..." And smiled once more.

Suddenly you feel a hand grab your shoulder. Without another second to think,you threw your fist over behind your back until another hand grabbed it. The hand once grabbing your shoulder soon grabbed your arm and twisted it behind your back as a small yelp escaped your lips. The person leans in closer towards your ear,"Remember him... Remember him... Remember yourself,Y/N....".

Your eyes widen as you recognized the voice. Williams.

As you wanted to turn around, he only grabbed on your arm tighter as you hissed. Turning your leg behind his,you brought your leg forward,making him fall. As soon as he was down,you pressed your foot against his chest,"You need to explain. Now." You demanded.

He only chuckled and right before your eyes,he disappeared. Looking around the place,you were once again in the dark. "Hey!" You shouted,"Where the hell are you?!". In response, you heard a laugh. The laugh echoed all over the place. It continued to laugh and laugh,it never seemed to end.
