Summer is finally here! All the students at Halifax Academy are preparing to make a break for the doors. Summer 2011 starts in another minute. Friends are in corners talking, others are counting down the time. That last minute is always the longest of them all... And the countdown begins. 10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1...
RING! RING! RING! Sounded the bell.
Students were pushing each other out the door. Most friends were stopping to say their goodbyes and others making summer plans. Our group was huddled out by our friends' trucks. We were thinking of some plans for the summer. Then my crazy brother pulls me to the side wanting to talk about who knows what...
“Hey Britt” Hunter smiled. “Hey Hunt, hey Christoph” I smiled. “You want your girls over for the summer?” he asked. “That would be soo awesome!” I said. “Mom and dad said you could if you wanted” he laughed. “I can't wait to tell them” I smiled. “Go tell them” he hit my butt and I ran off. That nut loves doing that for some reason.
“Guess what y'all?!” I smiled. “What?” Leisa laughed. “You can stay the whole summer at my house if you” I looked at them. They started screaming. “Is that what Hunter wanted?” Angel laughed. “Yeah” I laughed. “We should all go home and pack” Ashlee smiled. “I can't y'all get to stay the whole summer with me!” I squealed. “Something must be up” Ashley laughed. “I think that too” Kayla laughed. “Let's go get y'all packed up for the summer” I smiled. We jumped into the trucks and went.
I'm with the girls. Something is definitely up if my parents decided to do that. I just hope Hunter's friends aren't going to be over, too. This should be a fun summer!
