All of the girls drove home to pack for the summer. I told them I would come help, but I needed to go make sure everything was ready. I had to actually see if this was just a joke that Hunter was pulling. If it isn't a joke, then I know it's going to cost me something big! Well here goes nothing...

"Mama! Diddy!" I put my book bag down. "what Britt?" my dad looked at me. "Are my friends really staying the whole summer?" I looked at them. "Yeah as long as their parents say yes" my mom said. "I was just making sure" I said. "Why?" my dad asked. "You know how Hunter is" I rolled my eyes. "Actually it was all his idea" mom said. "Seriously?" I asked. "Yes" they nodded. "Where is he?" "With Richie and Dougie, why?" my dad asked. "Just wondering" I sighed.

It's official, Hunter freaking Hayes is up to no good. When he gets home, he's getting attacked with questions. I have a feeling, I'm going to pay a lot for this... Only thing to do is wait until he gets home. Ugh older brothers! It was almost 5 when he got home. Time for Hunter to do some explaining.

I ran up to his room and knocked. "Come in" Hunter yelled. "Hey Hunt" I smiled. "Why are you so smiley Britt?" he looked at me. "Alright, what's the deal?" I said. "What do you mean?" he asked. "Diddy told me it was all you idea..." I looked at him. "Oh..." he said. "Why did you do all this?" "Can't I be a nice brother?" he smiled. "Yes but not this nice! What are the consequences?" I sighed. "There aren't any, I'm serious" he laughed.

"You're definitely hiding something" I sat down beside him. "I'm not up to anything, believe me!" he insisted. "So how much is it going to cost me?" I laughed. "Britt, I'm being serious" "Well I know how you play some pretty mean jokes a lot" I sighed. "This isn't a joke" he sighed. "Are your friends staying over too?" I looked at him. "Yeah... that wasn't my choice, though" he said. "Who's was it?" I asked. "Their's" he half laughed.

"So one last question" I smiled. "Sure why not" Hunter laughed. "Do you like Ashlee?" I laughed. He didn't say a word. "You do!" I smiled. "Don't tell her!" he blushed. "I won't bro" I hugged him. "Better not because I can tell a certain someone that you like them" he smirked. "You've been listening to me phone calls!" I punched him in the shoulder. "No, I can just tell that you do" he smiled.

The door bell rings. "Well, your friends are here" he smiled. "Okay, and thanks Hunt" I hugged him. "You're welcome and nice punch you got there" he rubbed his shoulder. I laughed and ran downstairs.
