Chapter 10

King Rudolfo Kratos could not comprehend the situation. After hundreds of centuries he found his mate, he is suppose to love, care for her but all feelings evaporates with her face. Her face the face of his beloved which he had loved so much, he was ready to sacrifice everything for her. He still remembered the day when he first he saw her.

They were still in Supernatural realms, his father, King Derren and Queen Elizabeth had organised the the Supernatural ball. Rudolfo has got a brother Airodos and a sister Isabella. His father was a vampire while his mother was  a werewolf. He and his brother are hybrids while their sister is a vampire.

On the day of the ball Rudolfo was sitting on his throne talking to a number of girls who were literally throwing themselves at him. As he got bored after dancing with many suitors, he strode across the room to the balcony, when he saw the most beautiful woman he had ever seen, a vampire, tall, waist long blonde hair with blue eyes wearing a long golden colour gown. He was so captivated by her , he went on immediately to talk to the beautiful creature in front of him.

" a beautiful Lady like you, should not be standing in the balcony alone" he said amusely

She apologised "i am sorry i was feeling suffocated and a bit tired so i came out for a bit of fresh air here" and added "well i may tell you the same thing , wat a gentleman like you doing in the balcony you should be enjoying the company of many beautiful women in there"

Prince Rudolfo said " i am indeed enjoying the company of a beautiful woman now, may i have the pleasure to know your name please" she blushed and answered " Diana Barnett"

" Prince Rudolfo, a pleasure to meet you Diana" he said kissing her knuckles, she blushed again he added " may i have a dance with you" " sure" she answered.

" you dance very well Prince Rudolfo" she said " same to you" he answered

Finally the ball ended "  I hope to see you again soon, Lady Diana" Prince Rudolfo said not wanting to depart from her " i wish the same thing " she said giggling and blushing " you should do that more often " he told her.

King Rudolfo remembered the days and hours spent with her. He had introduced Diana to his family, and she fit in really well. She was smart, intelligent, elegant and easy to talk person, she soon became his sister best friend.

Everything was going very well, Diana soon became his fiancee. They confess their love for each other and soon became the most perfect couple ever.He remembered the day when a war broke out he had to leave her with a promise that he would soon returned to her and make her his bride. It was the same battle were he had lost his father King Derren . He remembered heading for home sorrowfully, with to vow to complete his father dreams a pledge to take over the earth. He knew he would be immediately be declared king and that he would marry Diana soon, so that she could be by his side during his conquest.

He remembered himself returning home silently even though they had won the war. His father death had major effect on their mother , her wolf mourned for its mate and she became weaker day by day. The had waited for Rudolfo to do the last rite before exhuming King Darren body.

Rodolfo was still in his mourning mood after losing his father and made his way straight to his fiancée room for comfort. He wants to hold her, kiss her ,make love to her , his future his beloved.

Once approaching at her door he was confused and bewildered, untill he open the door and darkness, which would never vanished, engulfed him .

Remembering his past, King Rudolfo threw his wine bottle which shattered into million pieces like his heart that night, that fateful night, that had changed his life forever.
