Chapter 12

Carrie pov

It was a hectic day today and i am looking forward for a warm bath and a sound sleep later. Student life had been much easier, happier and enjoyable compared to the adult life, not forgetting working together with the supernaturals. As i was retiring for the day, the new intern approached me.

" hey, ready to go home" she asked me " my name is Jessica"

" umm yeah, actually its late" i told her. She looked at me with her big honey colour eyes and she does look intimidating, probably a vampire.

" where do you stay" she asked me. As such i don't want to answer her but don want to be on her bad side either. " sector 11, reindeer street" i replied to her meekly just wanted her to leave me alone as she was giving me a weird vibe.

She seems to understand and left me with a see ya tomorrow tone. I was glad she left and realised she is not that bad . I have met vampire females walking and bragging like plastic dolls and humiliate any one that stand on their way.

Driving home i am still thinking about that Greek god i saw in the meeting hall. His expression, his eyes, his nose, his jaw, his lips....look like i am out of my mind. There is something about him weird  and the way he was looking was one second confusion and the next second anger. Woah i really need to stay away from that guy, considering he is one of those bloodsuckers council members.

With time Jessica and i have become good friends, though i still keep some distance, because don't want to be too close to some blooksucking freak. Though she seem genuine but she still has that weird aura around her or maybe i am just misjudging people, well only time can tell .

It had been a bad week for Rudolfo, becoming more tyrant and ruthless than before. He had return to his capital right after the meeting, handling over the matter to the pack and the Duke. Going to the province proofed to be the biggest mistake of his life, but it was destined so he would meet her one way or the other.

He should have foreseen his mate future, but little did he know after hundreds of centuries he would meet her. Now that he saw her he has to have her, torture her . Even though she is not Diana, he knew that the grudge that he had would be taken on her just because of facial resemblance.

On top of that he felt more torture that she is his mate, but her face make him hate her. How would he accept, love, cherished her. Though his wolf mourned at his decision, but he has to be strong and showered no weakness because his weakness once has taken a great toll in his life.

"Jake, stay away from that human" he said scowling at Jake who had a smugged look at his face.

" woah brother, never heard you staking claim on a female human before" he said amused " you act like that, she will run away, and by the way her name is Carrie"

" enough i did not asked for your advice, stay away it will be good for you" he scowl" call Jessica now" He had told Jessica to work as an intern in the Glasgow publishers and keep an eye her.

She is his mate , he is supposed to love her but his hatred suppressed all emotions. He had to control his rage, It was because of his fault that he lost his family. Rudolfo made his way to the dungeon and enter his private cell. Lucas was already there waiting for him,in one swift movement Rudolfo stripped off his suit and chained himself .
