After completely reading it over and over again and seeing my signature sitting at the bottom of the page in bold letters mocking me mocking my whole existence I heard him say
"Don't over think it, there is no way out it's ironclad I made sure of it" He replied smugly
I started to feel shortness in my breath God! Not now! This usually very rarely happens to me but nowadays I find myself losing my breath on any stressful matter.
And on a scale of one to hundred this must be a hundred and ten of stressful!
He was beside me in a minute
"Where is your inhaler?" He demanded and let's just say stupid me forgot to bring it with her.
"I...I...forgot it" I wheezed out by now I knew I was going to have a full episode. He went for a moment and was back soon. By now I was completely out of breath and my face must have turned borderline purple not blue.
I felt a strong hand on my neck and an inhaler gently yet firmly placed in my mouth.
"Breathe, breathe...yes... that's it....good girl "he cooed in my ear and eventually I could relax my muscles and breathe deeply allowing the medication to take its course.
Somehow I was lying on the couch and my head was on his shoulder. I vaguely remembered him stroking my hair gently.
I started to struggle but he held me firmly making all my attempts useless.
My body went rigid when I felt I couldn't get out of his grasp reminding me of my helplessness and intermingling with my past experiences. He must have felt me go wooden board on him because suddenly he let go of his hold on me and turned me to face him.
"Agapi mou, (my love) do you really think I would hurt you? He asked with confusion lacing his voice but my silence must have given him his answer
"What happened to you? He asked no answer from me, "Or should I ask who happened to you?" I flinched slightly at the Who which was more than he could handle as he cursed inaudibly under his breath stood and left the room.
