Theodore's Pov

Everything was set for us, the same neighborhood, same house, and same wife. Diana was lounged in the living room cleaning one of her guns, after our small altercation she has been on edge and she's trying her best to stay clear of my path.

Smart thinking.

"Do you want to go grab something to eat?" She asked tentatively not entering our supposedly shared bedroom.

"I told you never to enter my bedroom without my permission" I warned still texting Chase on my phone. I felt her stiffen and then relax a bit.

"No, I am pretty sure I would have remembered if you had instructed me in such a way" she seemed happy with her conclusion.

I was standing beside her in a flash, "so does that mean if I warn you at my house I have to keep on warning you again and again, once is not enough?" She blinked hurriedly and tried to stand her ground but I could see the fear in her eyes.

"I-I t-thought that was just coz of that girl at your house" she stuttered and tried to get away from me.

I held her arm before she could skip away

"When I say something keep it in your mind. I don't like asking more than once. And as for the girl you better not remember that she even exists" I said with a dark smile and squeezing her arm to send my message loud and clear. She gulped and nodded her head before getting out of my reach and into the kitchen.

Sophia's Pov

I can do this

I can do this

For the past hour this has been my mantra but now as I am so near to Theo's house I'm not so sure anymore. What if he doesn't want to see me? What if he gets angry? What if? My God what if he already has moved on? No, no, I should stop thinking like that and just do what I told Jess I was going to do.

"Ma'am this is the address" my taxi driver pulled near the house.

"Thanks" I paid him and took my small bag and went straight to the doorbell before I lost any ounce of nerves I had left.

After a few minutes of ringing the doorbell I started to give up that he was in the house at the moment which just gave me enough breathing space to clear my stupid head and reconsider my decision to come here in the first place.

Seriously wtf was I even thinking?

It's good he wasn't at home at least I can get out of here without my embarrassment killing me any further. I started to retrace my steps when the door flew open and I came face to face with a surprised and then fuming Theodore.

After a few minutes of silence he broke it with a question.

"Care to explain what you are doing here?"He said in a clipped tone but I could see he was beyond angry. For some reason he was very angry and I was hoping that I was not the reason behind it.

I opened and shut my mouth a few times trying to say something but nothing came out of my very dry mouth.

"Baby, this is no way to welcome our guests, now is it?" Please come on in" she pushed Theo lightly making him step aside but glare darkly. She is the same woman who was at the house previously but now here she was by his side wearing some very skimpy pjs which clarifies what she is to him.

"Let me phrase my question again. What are you doing here?" Theo asked me after we had settled down in his office. Wow! Are we that formal now to be taken to his office. Damn this is so much worse than I expected.
