Chapter 5

Alcohol, lood, partying, more blood. That' all I have been doing the past two months. I had my emotions off and I have never felt better. I wasn't going to live in misery any longer.

Every time I heard that an old friend was in town, I ran to a new one. I knew it wasn't hard for them to find me. I mean, being old friends with the Original family and the Salvatores and a doppelganger, damn, everyone knows them. They have connections everywhere. Whatever, they won't find me.

I am not sweet little Caroline anymore. I am Caroline. The girl who gets by, by being who I truely am, a vampire. I am drinking blood from humans, I am compelling people and I am having fun. I am currently in Holleywood at some night club I compelled my way into. Apparently movie stars hang out here. Haven't seen any though. I wonder which ones taste the best.

He walked in the door. I smiled and stood up walking towards him. He noticed me and turned back around outside, I followed, of course.

"What do I owe the pleasure." I asked

"Well I heard your emotions are off, and you are, well, not you." he said.

"Still and ass I see" i said back

"You know you love me."

"Loved." I corrected. "I loved you Tyler. Now, you are just part of my past."

"You mean a year ago?" He asked "You were with Klaus for what 6 months? Less? And now I am part of your past when we were friends for life and then dated for over a year?"

"That time means nothing to me. We are vampires, we live forever. one year is like one milisecond." I said back.

"Caroline come one. Please turn your emotions back on. We want you back" Tyler said

"That's why you're here? It's not that simple. I can't turn my emotions back on. I can't deal with that. And what better way to live your life as a vampire than to truely be a vampire?" I asked grinning.

"Caroline this isn't you. And plus, we have new information you might be interested in."

"If it is about some new killer or supernatural problem or drama in Mystic Falls. I. Don't. Care." I stated.

"Oh no. It's none of those." He told me.

"Then what?" I asked

"Come back home with me and I'll tell you. We all will. Everyone is in Mystic Falls. Rebekah, Kol, Elijah, Damon, Stefan, Elena. All of them. We have a plan and we have new info on something you'll want to hear about."

"This is just some stupid trick to get me to turn my switch back on. it isn't going to work Tyler. I promise you that."

"Then why are you still listening to me?" He asked.

"I don't know. Maybe I haven't had enough to drink tonight. If you'll excuse me I am going to fix that problem." I said annoyed and turned back to the club.

"The information is about Klaus"

That stopped me. "What?" I asked angry.

"We have new information about Kl-" I cut him off my grabbing his neck.

"Never say his name to me again. Never tell me information about him to me. And never bring anything about his family or him up in front of me. Got it?" I said

"I know you might not want to hear but you need to Caroline." He told me. I let go. "What does it matter to you anyway. he killed a lot of people Tyler. Including your mom. Drowned her and killed her." I said to him.

I turned again and walked back inside.

I sat at the bar and took multiple shots. I turned to see Tyler grabbing one.

"What? You don't think you are going to drink alone do you? We can all turn our switch off. Even if just for one night."

By the time we were done drinking, we were hightened by alcohol and having no emotions. Before I knew it I was kissing his face in my hotel room and our clothes were being rpped off.
