To a New Beginning (Klaroline FanFic)

Chapter 9

I made it back to the Salvatore house in no time. Hope was asleep as I carried her inside. I opened the door and found everyone in the living room. Damon, Stefan, Elena, Jeremy, Bonnie, Matt, Tyler and Rebekah. I handed Hope over to Rebekah and she went to go lay her down. 

"So, Caroline, is it really..you?" Elena spoke up. 

"Yes, Elena it's really me." I gave her a small smile. "And I am sorry you guys. I am sorry about what I've said and done," tears started falling and Elena and Bonnie came over and engulffed me in a hug. 

"Caroline stop. You're humanity was off and there was good reason. Klaus died." Elena comforted me. 

I looked up, "But that's just it. That's what switched it back on. Klaus isn't dead!"  I said.

"What? What are you talking about?" Bonnie asked. 

"Guys I know. I heard you all talking about it this morning." I said. "And then we got in the fight." 

"Noe actually were trying to use that to turn your switch back on." Damon said coldly. 

I glared at him, "You guys would steep that low?" I said angered. 

"No Caroline," Stefan started, "Look, we know that would be cruel but we had a reason. We think that we can bring Klaus back." He finished. 

"What? So you thought you would tell me he was already alive?" I asked. 

"Yes but that's only because we had a plan. We found a witch who helped bring him down but that was only because she was forced to by Mikael. She had a close relationship to Elijah and didn't know what she was doing. She wants to help bring back Klaus." Stefan said.

"She is also a relative of mine." Bonnie added. "She is distant, and old. Part of my grandmother's family. She left a long time ago. But she had met Elijah along the way and she is close with them." 

"Guys stop!" I yelled. 

"Caroline we are trying to tell you there is a chance to bring back Klaus." Matt said. 

"No! You don't get it!" I said. "You don't need some ressurection spell or whatever to bring Klaus back!" I said. "You just need a which, that is connected to the Original Witch." I said. 

"What? Why? What are you talking about Caroline?" Stefan asked. 

"She's talking about the fact that my brother is in fact already, alive." 

We turned around and all saw Elijah standing in the doorway. Rebekah had walked back in also. 

"What are you talking about?" Damon asked.

"Well, as you know, my brother created your blood line." Rebekah said. 

"So?" Tyler asked 

"So?" I repeated looking at him, "So when one Original dies! All of the vampires in their line die with them!" I explained. 

They all looked shocked. Like they were wondering how they didn't realize it before. 

"Yes, Caroline exactly." Elijah said. "When those witched cast the Sun and the Moon spell back onto my brother, the split his vampire and his werewold side. They thought they had stuck him with white oak to kill his vampire side, the only thing, they didn't kill him." He finished. 

"If they stuck him with white oak, how would that not kill him." Stefan asked.

"Well that's just the thing. They thought that they had stuck his vampire side. When in reality, the made one side dormant. The first time the spell was cast, his werewolf side was dormant, this time, it was his vampire side. There needed to be balance. They thought that if they seperated him, it would directly put his werewolf side dormant, but there are more vampires than werewolfs in the worls. Werewolves and vampires balance eachother. But Klaus has started to creat hybrids. If they get bit by him, they will die unless they have his blood also." Elijah tried to explain. 

Everyone led confussed and I could tell why. It was very difficult to understand. Finally someone caught one. 

"So you are telling us, that they hid his vampire side thinking it was his werewolf side." Damon said. 

"Then killed his werewolf side by staking him in the heart which would kill just about anything." Stefan added. 

"Which means all that's left was his vampire side. Which the witches didn't plan for. They left his body, which you two have." Bonnie said. 

"So, that means, Klaus is just and Original Vampire?" Elena asked. 

"Oh no. Klaus is and Original Vampire, but he is also an Original Hybrid." Rebekah said smiling. 

"Great. What does that mean?" Damon spoke up. 

"Nothing can kill an Original Vampire besides the white oak steak. Even though he isn't the Original Werewolf, no steak, or silver will kill him." Rebekah said. "He is the son of the Original Werewolf. He was only werewolf at the time, the steak can't kill a werwolf." She explained. 

"So there is still an Original Hybrid walking around somewhere who has a very confussing background history that I can't even understand?" Damon asked, "That's what you're trying to tell me?"

"That's exactly what she's telling you, mate." 

We turned and in the doorway, he stood, beaten, torn clothes and pale. But there he was. Klaus was back in Mystic Falls.
