To a New Beginning (Klaroline FanFic)

Chapter 10

AN. Sorry I was busy last weekend from vacation and I'm still on vacation this next week and my stupid computer won't connect to Internet so it's all from my phone so don't hate on my terrible writing!!

"Klaus" I breathed. But I couldn't move. It was like my feet were stuck. By this time it had been about 6 months since is seen him. He was dead, but here we was.
"Caroline" he said quietly. I could feel tears running down my cheeks.
He does over to me instantly wiping them off. I closed my eyes, feeling his touch against my skin. Like he had never stopped touching me.
"Klaus" I whispered again.
"I'm right here love open your eyes, look at me." He said quietly.
I did so and instantly connected my lips to his.
When we broke apart my forehead rested against his.
"How- I don't understand- what-" I couldn't make a full sentence.
"Caroline you understand it all." He said to me.
"Well then would you like to enlighten us?" Damon said. "sorry to break it up but a dead original hybrid just showed up so what the hell is happening in this world?" Damon added.
"Well mate, you see there is a witch very close to my family. Her blood line goes back to the witch who taught my mother and who my mother pulled magic from when creating us Originals. When I died, my vampire side went dormant and they killed my werewolf side with white oak which doesn't kill werewolves. But they though it did. I was dead for a while my werewolf side died and I went to the other side. But after time, my vampire side brought me back, healing me and my werewolf side." Klaus explained.
"So you are still a hybrid?" Stefan asked.
"Am now and always will be" klaus responded.
"How much time dos it take to bring you back?" Bonnie asked.
Klaus looked at me before answering, "3 days, after the full moon cycle."
I gasped, "Caroline please please don't run" klaus said holding my shoulders.
"You are telling me you were only dead for three days and I suffered for six months?!" I screamed the end.
"No listen I was in hiding." He said.
"From who? Your entire family? Me?" I asked.
"No! I was hiding from the witches and mikael. I was regaining my strength. Every month the full moon increased my strength." Klaus said.
"Six months klaus. No call. No letter. No sign. For six months." I said softly trying to hold in my anger.
"Caroline I promise I was trying to find out how to get to you as fast as I could. I killed all the witches. I had to find my way back. Something kept blocking me from returning. No witch was helping. I have left trails of dead witches." He explained tears I his eyes.
I knew he was telling the truth but it had been six months. "Who is more important? Me? Or killing witches?" I asked harshly.
"I was killing them to get to you. Caroline I am free and now we can be together. We can make up those six months."
"No" I said but covered my mouth. "No I don't want to" I said when my hands moved. Panic was in my eyes though.
"Bonnie what are you doing?" Jeremy asked. I turned and saw Bonnie chanting.
I felt it, my switch flipped.
Klaus' POV
"Witch what are you doing?" I yelled.
I tried running to her but there was a shield around her I couldn't touch her.
"You killed witches. Tons of witches. My best friend is not marrying you. I won't allow it." Bonnie said sternly.
"You don't decide this!" I screamed. Then I turned to my love.
"Caroline please say something. Leave with me now. We can go travel."
She stared at me with cold blank eyes.
"Why?" She asked
"What?" I questioned.
"Why would I go with you? I don't love you klaus. Never did. It was all just some human feeling of wanting adventure and sex. I never actually loved you. Sorry to break it to you but you are over a thousand years old, you should know by now not to fall in love. I mean love is a vampire's greatest weakness correct?" She smiled at me coldly before walking out the door.
I fell to my knees. What happened.
"What have you done?!" I screamed to the witch in front of me.
"I flipped her switch myself, for good this time. So you never know if she actually loved you or not. And by the way, if you ever hurt or try to hurt me or my friends, just know, Caroline is connected to all of us. That's right, I'm a much more powerful witch right now. I've been working with Ana-Carolina. And now that we are connected to Caroline, if you hurt one of us, you kill her." The witch said and then walked out leaving all of us in shock.
"Klaus who is Ana-Carolina?" The doppelgänger spoke.
"Ana-Carolina is the witch my mother drew power from when creating us." Rebekah said.
"That would mean Bonnie is talking to a witch thousands of years old on the other side." Elijah said.
"Is that bad besides what she just did?" Damon asked.
"Well, Ana-Carolina practiced dark magic. That's how my mother could pull from her to create us. When Ana-Carolina died, she had a child my mother cared for but didn't turn. One who carried the dark magic in her. One that our blood line pulls from because of the dark magic in us. Ana-Carolina promised my mother though, if my family ever hurt another member of her family's blood line, she would get her revenge. She has obviously planned this for many many years. And put it in action when Bonnie returned from the other side." Elijah was saying.
"Who did one of you hurt in her family?" Stefan asked.
"Well we've all had our share but Ana-Carolina is an ancestor or the Bennett bloodline. Making it so that anytime Bonnie was hurt, Ana was planning something. And now it's in action. Bonnie will not rest until this family is torn apart. She is now and has been for a while I'm assuming, controlled by Ana-Carolina." Elijah explained.
