This is so boring!
No sh!t Sherlock
Do not worry, Lexi, you may tell us about a story to us about your own time on Earth.
Yay!! Thank you Xi.
ugh,
I shifted comfortably in the hospital bed, my shoulder and back wrapped up in bandages.
Tex and, surprisingly, Carolina visited almost everyday. I always thought that they were training constantly, especially Carolina, after that last mission. Sometimes the others drop by to tell me anything interesting that has happened. The doctors and nurses came here and there, changing my bandages and asking me questions. To be honest, I felt fine, but they insist that I was not. But I didn't care much.
The sound of a door sliding open caught my attention as York stepped through. He had wore a plain tan t-shirt and grey jogging pants, while I wore a long white nightgown.
"Hey, BC, how are ya'?" He asked me before setting himself onto the chair next to me. I smiled and told him I was fine.
"Though, I wished I wasn't here, it gets quite boring," I added.
"Yeah, I feel your pain. But don't worry, all of us are here to keep you entertained!" He says, a small grin on his face. I chuckled a bit before sitting up straight and crossing my legs to get comfortable.
"Hey, I know, lets play twenty questions," York suggested. I nodded in agreement. "I'll ask first. What's your real name?"
"Alexis," I answer.
"Why is your agent name BC?"
"All the state names were taken,"
"Really? We have that many agents?" He asked surprised.
"Yup, I was surprised as well. I was told most of them work on smaller missions," I reply.
"Huh, anyways, why do you have a mechanical eye?"
I lifted my hand to the said eye, my fingers glazing over the cool metal. "Something was wrong with it and had to be replaced," I explain.
"Maybe I should get one," York chuckled as I smile at his comment. "Let's see, how do you know Tex?"
"We were old friends in high school," I lie to him, but he didn't seem to notice. The door slid open once again, interrupting us, revealing Carolina in her cyan armour. She almost seemed shocked that York was there before taking off her helmet showing off her red hair.
"Hello, you two," the female greeted us. I patted the empty space in front of me telling her to sit there. Carolina complied and sat down taking her helmet and setting it on the night stand next to me.
"Wanna join our game?" York asked the agent. She answered 'why not,' to which he smiled at.
Aww, they are so cute together!
Yuck! Sweet mushy romance is awful! I prefer hooking up with someone and never talk to them again.
But that's even more awful!!!
We all see love in a different way.
Sure....
"Carolina, ask BC some questions, we can alternate who's asking," York suggested. She nods before asking me anything.
"How did you meet Tex?"
"We met at a our wrestling club, we were paired together because we kept beating everyone else." I lie to her, but no one took notice again. Carolina nodded understanding.
"Have any siblings?"
"I have five, three brothers and two sisters. My brothers are triplets." I tell her, this time it was the truth.
"Wow! And I thought having twins like North and South were enough!" York exclaimed, surprised at my 'family'. I chuckle at his reaction.
"Do you know what CT was talking about?"
"Yes,"
"What laws has the director broken?" Carolina asked in a serious tone of voice. York looked at her shocked at her question.
"Wait, what?! Broken laws-" York shouted but was cut off by my hand covering his mouth, shutting him up. Taking a glance around the plain room, I spot a security camera in the left corner across the room.
Lexi, you know what to do,
Yup!
My arms go limp for a split second before they moved on their own as I got up from my bed. I walked over to camera and stood on my toes as my arm opened its side. After a few wires being pulled and rearranged, I backed away and walked back to my bed, my arms had regain feeling as I did so. The two at the bed looked at me weirdly. "What are you doing?" one of them asked.
"I don't want them knowing," I explain, taking my seat on the bed. "The director has violated protocol laws and has been arrested before," answering the girl's question earning a sharp intake of breath from her. York stared back at me with wide eyes, his mouth open in shock.
"How do you know this?" He asked me with slight hesitation as if he doesn't want to know the answer.
"I have friends who like to keep records of people, the Director just happen to be one of them they took interest in," that was half the truth and a lie. My friends, also known as my voices take note of everyone. Not just some, but they like some then others.
Then, the counselor had opened the door to my room and stepped through the doorway. With his clipboard in hand, he stared at us with suspicion in his dark eyes. I looked back at him with a rebellious feeling.
I'm taking a guess he found out about the camera
Yup...
Have fun getting in trouble!
It will be fine. Agent BC is not to be punished by something like this, the Director said so.
"Agent Carolina, Agent York, visiting times are over, you my now leave," He told them, gesturing towards the door. They did as complied and said a goodbye to me as I waved a bye. As the door shut, the counselor turned to me and walked to the single bed.
"Alexis, you know you are to not mess around with the cameras, they are expensive equipment that take a while to fix," He scolded me as I gave a bored look.
"You know that she could fix that easily as she rewired it," I pointed out to him.
"Which one?" He asked. I told him the younger one before I pulled my bed covers over me as it was getting slightly cold in the room. "Another thing, the Director has told you not to say anything about anyone's past," I nodded lazily before laying down, resting my head on the stiff pillow.
"Visiting hours are over, you should go," I order him, using his own words against him. The counselor stood there for a moment before leaving me to my voices and my self.
