I was watching Carolina practice hand to hand combat with green circles that rotate around her. Once she hit one, it would turn red.The woman, after finishing one round would start up a new one, continuing to fight. She was amazing, I must say.
We've seen better.
Well you don't have to be so negative about her skill!!!
I groaned as the two voices argued in my head. I switch on the music that Lexi programmed into my helmet. The song that popped up first was 'You're gonna go far, kid' by Offspring. I hmm'ed silently to the tune. Music was my escape from the cold grasp of reality. It gave me a chance to hear feelings that others felt.
Caroilna's training ended in ten minutes before two others go in and fight as trainining. I didn't know who exactly though. The song ended and a new one began, but I was roughly grabbed by the shoulders and turned around to face South Dakota. I shut the music off quickly before she could say anything.
"Hey, I'm talking to you!" She yelled at me, annoyed. I tilted my head to the left slightly as if asking what she wanted. "You've got to face against me after 'miss perfect' is finished," she said resentment when she mentioned Carolina. "I'm not going to go easy on you, just because you're the newbie." South warned. I glared at her at the mention of that nickname. My red eye twitched a bit when I gave her the icy glare. She walked away, over to her brother, leaving me alone once more. I begin to head for the training room door seeing the Carolina was done.
Walking down the steep steps. I saw Carolina walking up. "Good luck. Not that you'll need it." Carolina mumbled to me as we passed each other on the stairs leading to the training room. I froze for a second before nodding and walking away. Entering the large room I was in earlier this morning, and I notice that South was already there.
"Took you long enough." She said smugly. Taking a deep breath the voices and I prepared for the fight. I turned on my music again.
Okay, Alexia, you'll be the one fighting mostly. Lexi when the baton round starts it's your turn. I'll be taking the paint gun round. Got it?
Yeah, I guess that's good
Yes, sir. Oh, I mean, Ma'am!
" Round one, hand to hand combat starts in three, two, one. Hand to hand combat begins" F.I.L.L.I.S announced as my limbs go numb. They started to move on their own, heading towards the South who was charging at me.
(I woke up on this side, I thought it was a dream
At first we learned to walk then learned to scream)
South came swinging the first punch with her left. Dodging it, my hand caught her wrist and using my other arm to rolling her arm towards the ground making her fall to the ground. Letting go, my right leg kicked her, sending her a few meters away. South got up quickly before charging again.
(You can't understand, when your fed from a T.V screen
You can't see things the things that I can see)
South ran at me, as I did the same. Once in hitting distance of each other, I pushed off the ground and flipped backwards kicking her under the jaw in the processes. She stumbled a few steps backwards, dazed for a moment, but ran to my left. She sent a round house kick to my head, but I narrowly missed it. I crouched and my leg swept from under her legs making her fall on her butt.
