Mel’s POV

It is 5pm and we are still in the hospital, Louis isn’t aloud out until later on tonight. A couple of police officers walk into the room, making us look in their direction. “Hello, how are you?” they ask, looking at Louis.

“Fine thanks.” He replies.

“Okay. Do you remember who done this?” the slightly taller one asks.

“Jack. I don’t know his last name.”

“Griffins.” I add. They nod.

”He’s been in prison before.”

“What!? When!?” I ask, I never knew this.

“Because of his past relationships. He’s your ex, right?” they ask, looking at me. I nod.

“What was your relationship like?”

“Well, he was abusive a few times, we never really got on and we were always arguing, it was terrible.” They nod, writing a few things down. “Has he been in contact with you since your break up?” I hesitate.

“Err... Yeah… he’s sent me threat through text and phone calls…” I reply, quietly.

“What!? Why didn’t you tell me?!” Louis asks, pulling me into a hug.

“I was too scared to. I didn’t want you to worry.” A tear slid down my cheek. He wipes it away.

“You shouldn’t be scared to tell me anything. Of course I’d be worried, but I could have helped.”

“I’m sorry, please don’t be mad…” I say, nervously.

“I’m not mad, just upset that you went through that without telling me.” he replies, cuddling me and burying his head into my neck when one of the police officers cough, getting our attention. “Do you have any of the texts that he sent you?”

“I have 1, from yesterday.” I get up and go up to them, with my phone in hands. I show them and they write it all down before nodding. “Thank you for your time. We’ll contact you shortly about what’s going to happen with Mr. Griffins.” We nod and they walk out. I sit down on a chair and Louis pouts at me. “What?” I ask.

“I was comfy.” He says with his arms out wide. I laugh and shake my head. “Why not?” I shrug. He chuckles. After a few more hours, Lou’s aloud to go home. We drive back, arriving quite quickly. We go inside and my phone goes off. I answer it and it’s my cousin, Kat. We’re very close and I haven’t seen her in a while. “Hey!!!!” she shouts. “Hey Kat.” I laugh.

“Guess what!?” she asks.

“What?”

“I’m coming down for a couple of weeks!” she lives a couple of hours away now so she doesn’t get to come down often.

“REALLY!” That’s great!! You can come and stay with me if you want!”

“Yes! That would be great! I’ve missed you.” She says, I can practically hear the smile in her voice.

“I’ve missed you to, when are you down?”

“I’m coming down in a few hours, I can see you tomorrow!”
