Louis’ POV

 

I wake up to find Mel still asleep. We had stayed in the same position the whole night. I was still holding her hand. I brought it up to my lips and kissed it softly. I sat up a little, leaning on my elbow. I stare at her, a little smile on my face. Even just hearing her name makes me smile, get butterflies and a warm fuzzy feeling inside of me. That’s what I love about her. She doesn’t even have to do anything yet she gets me choked up on my words.

“Morning Lou.” I hear her voice and quickly snap out of my daze.

“Morning beautiful.” I reply and peck her lips. I lay back down and she rests her head on my chest again. Her right hand tracing little patterns on my chest, making me smile at her touch. “I really, really love you. Like I’ve never ever loved anyone.” I say softly and she looks up at me, a happy look on her face with a slight blush.

“Honestly?” she asks. I nod.

“Honestly.” I reply and her smile gets wider.

“I really love you to Louis. I’ve never loved anyone the way I love you. You mean so much to me.”

“You’re my world.” I say and kiss her forehead gently. She cuddles closer to me, if that was possible and closes her eyes. “Baby, what happened at school with Lizzy?” I ask, playing with her hair.

“Well, she bullied Kat and I all through school. From Year 1 till the end of college. She insulted us everyday and made school the worst place to be. We both would dread going to school but we would always stay together, no matter what. We stood up for each other all the time, I think that’s why we’re so close. Lizzy is one of the reasons for my insecurities.” Mel replies.

“What are the other reasons?” I ask

“Jack…” she replies, and I can see that I brought back memories.

“Oh. Well let’s not bring him up, ever. Okay?” she nods.

“To be honest Lizzy is such a sl*g. I swear, her legs probably open quicker then the google homepage.” I laugh at her sassy comment and she laughs with me. The door to my bedroom opens. We see Kat standing there. “She also needs to close her legs before she catches more fish.” Kat says and walks back out, closing the door. Mel laughs and so do I. “Mel, can I take you out for a date today?”

“Another one?” she asks, smiling.

“Yeah.” I reply, also smiling.

“Why do you take me out so much? I feel spoiled.”

“Because, I want to be the best boyfriend you’ve ever had. I want to take you out and spoil you. You mean a lot to me and I want to show you that in as many possible ways as I can. So, please? I’ve planned it all out for the past couple days.” She smiles.

“Okay. Thank you Lou. We should get up.” She replies.

“No…” I say. She laughs and looks at me. “I’m not getting up until I get a kiss!” I say stubbornly and she giggles a little. She leans in and gently places her beautiful lips onto mine, our lips moving in sync. She was about to pull back when I deepened the kiss, pulling her closer to me, almost on top of me. She smiles and wraps her arms around my neck. I tighten the grip around her and we finally pull back for air. She laughs a little and gets up, holding out her hand. I take it and get up. “Can I take a shower Lou?”
