Kat’s POV
As the movie plays, I get up to go make some more popcorn in the kitchen. As I wait for the ding from the microwave I feel someone tap my shoulder. I turn around to see Niall. He smiles and I smile back. “What you doing here?” I ask, curiously. “I wanted to talk…” he says, almost nervous. I nod for him to carry on. “So… I know we only met today… but I wanted to tell you that… I like you.” I blush.
“Urm… I can’t believe I’m admitting this but… I like you to…” he smiles and steps closer. I can feel my face full deep red as he leans in. He kisses me so I kiss him back. All of a sudden we hear a cough and quickly pull away. We turn around to find a laughing Mel. “Sorry!” she says, still laughing at how embarrassed we look. Soon after, Harry enters. “GET OUT OF MY KITCHEN!” he says, rather loudly.
“It’s my kitchen.” Mel says, confused.
“Shsh…” he replies and backs out of the room quietly. Mel turns back to Niall and I.
“So you’re getting up close and personal quick?” she asks, smirking. I push her lightly in a joking way.
“Shut up…” I say quietly.
“I’m going to go back into the living room…” Niall says, awkwardly and quickly walks out. I laugh and so does Mel and then we both go into the living room with the popcorn. Louis pulls Mel onto his lap and fiddles with her hair, not paying attention to the film. I smile at them both when I feel someone take my hand, it was Niall. I smile and so does he. “I’m sorry about just now. I don’t know what I was thinking…” he whispers so he doesn’t distract anyone. “It’s fine.” I whisper back and rest my head on his shoulder. No one saw as the lights were off.
Mel’s POV
Louis pulls me onto his lap and starts fiddling with my hair. I lean against him and smile. “I found Kat and Niall kissing.” I whisper as I lay my head on his chest.
“Did you?” I nod. “Aw.” He adds. I giggle quietly and look at Niall and Kat. I could just about make out that they were holding hands and she had her head on Niall’s shoulder. I nod towards them and Lou looks at them. He smiles and wraps his arms around me. “They definitely like each other.” He whispers.
“We already knew that.” I whisper and he chuckles. He kisses my head and tightens his grip a little – not hurting me though.
As the film ends, Kat and I go into the kitchen to get some more snacks for the rest of the night. As we were putting crisps in a bowl, I throw a few at her. She turns around and glares at me while taking 2 large hand fulls. She throws them right at my face, laughing. I laugh with her and grab the bowl of cake mixture we had as we were about to put them in cases and into the oven. I put it on her head and she stares at me in shock. I can’t help but laugh. She takes the bowl off and throws some mixture at me. We end up having a full on food fight. The boys walk in after about 10 minutes. They laugh at the sight of us and take their phones out. They take a few pictures of us and laugh again. I walk up to Louis, a smirk playing at my lips. I give him a hug and he hugs me back. “Wait, you don’t care I’m covered in food…!?” I ask, shocked. He shakes his head and smiles. He laughs and pokes my nose. “Oh!” I say and pout a bit. He pecks my lips and we all start clearing everything up. After, I go upstairs to take a shower and get into new pyjamas. After me, Kat does the same. “So, you and Kat kissing in my kitchen?” I ask, smiling at Niall. He blushes and looks down. “You kissed Kat!?” all the boys ask, except Louis as I told him. He nods and the boys cheer. “Niall’s found a girl!” Zayn says and Niall smiles. A few minutes later, Kat comes down.
After a while of talking, we play some games and then watched a few more movies. It was 03:47am when we all decided we should go to bed and go to sleep.
We woke up at 10:23am when my phone rang. I answered it and it was the police. “Hello.” I say.
“Hello. Is this Miss. Jones speaking?”
“Yes. Is there news about Jack?”
“Yes there is. He’s been charged guilty for an abusive relationship with you and assault with Mr. Tomlinson. He’ll be in prison for 2 years.”
“Okay. That’s great to hear. Thank you.”
“It’s okay, have a good day.” I hang up the phone.
Louis POV
Mel hangs up the phone and smiles. “Who was it?” I ask. “The police.” I stand up.
“About Jack?” I ask and she nods smiling. I hug her.
“What did they say!?”
“He’s in prison for 2 years! We’re free from him!” she says gladly and jumps on me, wrapping her arms and legs around me. I laugh and hold her before she falls. “That’s great to here!” I say and kiss her nose. She laughs and tries to get down but I hold onto her. She looks at me strangely. I laugh and let her down. “So… Jack’s in prison?” Harry asks. We both snap round to the rest of them.
“Oh, yeah. He is.” Mel says, blushing a bit as she realises that they all saw her jump on me. We all laugh and sit down. “What to do today?” Kat asks. We all shrug.
“Well…I don’t know about all of you, but, I’m taking my girl out for the day.” I say, taking Mel’s hand.
“Oh, really? How come?” Mel asks.
“Because I want to.” She smiles and I smile back. “There’s a faire in town today, right? We can all go but leave you 2 alone so you can have your date. I’m going to text Danielle and see if she wants to come.” Liam says and we all nod. “I’ll text Perrie.” Zayn adds.
“Can you stay with me?” Niall asks Kat, which we all ‘aw’ at. She nods, blushing.
“Oh! I’m so alone!” Harry says, making us laugh. “Who can I go with?” he asks, fake crying.
“Danielle just said that she’s going shopping today with her mum so she can’t make it. Harry, you can come with me.”
“Yay!” Harry says and we all laugh. We stand up and get ready. We shower and get dressed and do everything else. We grab our phones, money and a few other things, ready to have a great day.
