Tiffany's POV
I wake up and blink the sleep from my eyes. It is night time, or at least the sun has already set. It was winter so the sun went down earlier. I feel Roman's large arms over me. We are both covered in a nice warm blanket as we shield ourselves from the harsh cold of winter.
We didn't have sex, I wasn't sure if I was ready for that. We were both still mildly clothed. He had on his sweatpants while I wore a tank top and panties.
I get up and walk to the bathroom. My hair is kind of messy so I take Roman's brush and fix it the best I can. I hear a knock on the door frame. I look and see Dean. It had been about a week since he and I got into that argument.
"Hey, can I talk to you for a bit?" He asks. I take a deep sigh and nod. I get dressed and we walk to the library. I walk in and see a girl with red hair at the front desk. I'm sure I have classes with this girl. She looks up at us and gives us a weak smile.
"Hello, my name is Eli, I'm the Assistant Librarian. Can I help you find a book?" The girl introduces. I smile.
"No thanks, we just needed a quiet place to talk." I explain. She nods and points to an aisle.
"Straight down this aisle, you won't be bothered at all." She suggests. I nod.
"Thank you." I say before we walk to a table. I sit down and wait for him to do the same. "So, what do you want?" I ask. He takes a deep breath.
"I'm sorry for the way I acted last week." He apologizes. I roll my eyes.
"You dragged me here to say 'Sorry'?" I challenge. He shakes his head.
"No, I didn't. I wanted to know if this is the girl you saw all those months ago?" He admits. He pulls out his phone and shows me a picture of the girl. I nod.
"Yeah I think it is. Is that Renee?" I reply. He nods.
"I just don't get why she never told me about it." He explains. I pat him on the shoulder.
"Don't worry about it." I encourage. "Chances are, she just didn't want to embarrass you, you were pretty drunk." I point out. He shakes his head.
"That doesn't make me feel any better." He complains. I get up and give him a pat on the back.
"Good luck with Renee. I'm happy for you. You seem like you've been happier since you became friends." I admit. He shrugs.
"I guess so. Thanks Tiffany. I'll see you when we take the Mid-Year Exam tomorrow." Dean says goodbye. He walks out. I remember I still have to study. I walk up to the giro at the front desk.
"Hello, Eli?" I ask. She nods.
"Yes, can I help you?" She asks. I take a deep breath.
"I need to brush up on stuff so I can ace the test." I admit. She smiles and nods.
"Well, if you just follow me, there is a book that will help with all the subjects you might need help with. I call it the super guide." She explains. She hands me the book. I smile.
"This is perfect, I'm surprised it hasn't been taken out already." I admit. She sighs.
"It has, look at the card in the back." She instructs. I do and see a bunch of names, including Dean, Roman, even Eli.
"Oh, well thank you, I know that this will be great help." I reply. She shrugs.
"That's why I'm here." She whispers, she seems sad.
"Tiffany." I introduce. I can't help but think that this girl will be a good friend to me.
