In Maryland Day 1

Maddie POV

Chres and I looked at eachother before I opened the door walking in.

Maddie: mom dad??

Mom: Maddie! Oh and Chresanto! What are you too doing here?

Maddie: we actually came to tell you guys something...

Dad: well what is it?

Maddie: umm... There really isn't a easy way to say this but... Mom dad.. I'm pregnant with Chresanto's baby. He's signing a deal with the New York Giants and living in New Jersey while I go to college to help out with the baby.

Dad: your pregnant?

Maddie: yes dad. I'm sorry. I know I'm supposed to wait until marriage.

Dad: how could you? Your a Christian women! How could you betray your lord like this?

Maddie: many people have sex before marriage..

Dad: but there not my daughter. You are.You know what. Get out my house. I'm no longer paying for your education. Since you wanna be grown and make adult decisions you can pay your own damn education. I don't want anything to do with this baby. When you get married and have a child then you call me. But now. I don't even wanna look at you. I'm a shame of you.

He walked away back into his room. I had tears streaming down my face. I didn't think he would be so harsh. Chres hugged me and I cried on his shoulder.

Mom: baby girl... I'm very disappointed in you. But I still love you. I want to see my child. And your father will too. Just give him sometime. Congratulations Chresanto on the deal. You guys can see yourself out.

My mother walked away from me. I ran for the door with Chris following behind me. He hugged me wiping away my tears.

Chresanto: babe. Babe listen to me. Everything will be ok.

Maddie: my parents hate me.

Chresanto: they didn't say that..

Maddie: did you not hear my dad?

Chresanto: I heard your dad but I also know that you too are really close. He's just shook. Your there only child. He'll come around soon.

I just nodded. I guess he's right. I hope.

In LA Day 2

Chresanto POV

Chresanto: Ma... Maddie is pregnant.

Mom: I'm going to be a grandmother?

Chresanto: yes..

I was pre-pared for a slap across the face but all I heard was a scream then felt a tight hug. I opened my eye seeing my mother hugging me.

Chresanto: mom?

Mom: yes Chres?

Chresanto: your not mad?

Mom: well I'm alittle disappointed but it's ok. I'm still excited and happy for the both of you.

Maddie: really?

Mom: yeah I'm very happy. I'm going to be a grandmother!

Chresanto: oh thank Jesus. I thought you were going to hate us..

Mom: why would you think that baby? I could never hate you.

Maddie: maybe because of my parents..
