Damn Parents!

Maddie POV

I sat there with Chres and his mother at the dinner table. We talked about the future. Chres went on and on about the pre season about to start. And the baby on its way... almost here actually. You can tell he was excited. Ready for the future. Mama (What I call Chres mother)  gave us some pointers on parenting. It was a big help because we both needed it.  I always expected to get it from my parents tho. I quietly got up from the table and exit to front door. Sitting on the front porch looking out into the street. I Shed tear as I stared at a little girl and her parents having fun on a family walk. Reminded me of my childhood. Making me shed another tear. I still couldn't belive my parents did that to me. I know I made a beautiful mistake but no one should feel abandoned. I never want my child to feel like this. I looked down at my stomach and smiled.  I won't even let it happen. 

Chresanto: I can't wait either.

I heard his voice run through my ears making my heart jump. I looked over at him and nodded slightly.

Chresanto: I know you don't wanna see them but maybe you should go talk to them at least..

Maddie: it's not that I don't wanna see them. They don't wanna see me.

Chresanto: babe you don't know that.

Maddie: he sure as hell made it clear when I last saw him.

Chresanto: he was upset. He acted out of anger. I know he still loves you. I know they do.

I shook my head standing up walking pass him and up to his room laying on the bed crying my eyes out. I wanted my parents back.

Chresanto POV

I sighed at another failed mission. I walked back inside to see my mother with hopeful eyes. I shook my head no and her head dropped.

Mom: maybe you should go talk to them.

Chresanto: Maddie would killed me if she found out...

Mom: but she would also be excited.. to see that you tried.

Chresanto: ok.. fine I will go. Cover for me?

Mom: I got you.

I smiled thanking my mother and ran out to my car. Time for a little trip.

Jordan POV

I woke up the next day around 2 pm. I was tired! EJ has a nigga waking up at the ass crack of dawn everyday but sunday. I needed my rest. I went downstairs grabbing some food from the kitchen.

Jada-Lee: whoa..

Jordan: shutup. I just woke up.

Jada-Lee: oh I can tell.

She laughed a bit.

Jordan: Where is dad?

I asked grabbing some athletic jucie drinking it out the carton. I'm the only one who drinks it.

Jada-Lee: he went upstairs to his office with Mr. Dan.

Jordan: he's here? Again? Wait.. dad's office is downstairs. Not upstairs.

I said looking at Jada.

Jada-Lee: oh shit! Your right.

I put my food down and ran up the stairs with Jada following right behind me. We went to his door and listened in. We couldn't hear anything but the shower stopping. I hear the shower close and people walking towards his bed.

Dan: that was good. But we have to get back to work.

Dad: you right it was good but I got something else in mind.

Dan: no no no. I know what that means. We can't. Both of your daughters are home and we have to do this project for work.

Dad: pleaseee.

Dan: nope.

I heard someone get out the bed. Then a loud smack.

Dan: ow! Mr. Carter! That hurt. That's why you ain't getting none.

Dad: you know your lying. You can't resist me.

Dan: but I can.

Dad: ard.. I give you a day.

Dan: a week.

Dad: alright. Bet

Dan: bet.

I looked at Jada-Lee and she looked at me.

Jada-Lee: are they.. dating?

Jordan: I don't know. But it does sound like it. I didn't even know dad was like that.

Jada-Lee: would it bother you if he was?

Jordan: no.. he just doesn't seem like that type.

The door opened and there stood my dad and Mr. Dan.

Dad: oh hey.

Jordan: hey.

I grabbed Jada's hand and ran down into my room. Does my dad like guys?

Chresanto POV

I looked at the door and took a deep breath before knocking on the door. The door opened and there stood her mother.

Tracey: Chres! It's so good to see you.  Is Maddie here with you?

She asked with hopeful eyes. I shook my head no. You can tell she was disappointed but she just nodded.

Chresanto: can I come in?

I asked. She nodded slightly opening ghe door letting me in.

Chresanto: well I came today because we're in town.. for a little bit visiting our families.

Tracey: but Maddie didn't come see us..

Chresanto: well I wanted to talk to you about her. She's really been bummed out lately. She says she's feels abandoned by you too. And she won't come over here because she thinks you too don't want to see her.

Ttacey: no I want to see her. That has to be the worst mistake James has ever made. I made him sleep on the coach for months. That's probably why he's at the doctors now. But he won't call her. He know what he did easy wrong but he wants her to see the wrong in her mistakes.

Chresanto: but she has. I know God says wait for marriage.. but if you love the person why wait?  If you can see yourself having a future with the person. You can see the person being the mother of your children. People make mistakes that's what we do. Adam and Eve made mistakes too but God still forgave them and helped them throughout life.. if he can fo it why can't you guys ?

James: because she disobeyed me.

I heard the door slam and his deep voice making me jump as little inside buy buy stood my gtound.

Chrrsanto: you can't just sit here and act like you don't come short at times.

James: well I do.

Chresanto: and God has always kept you. He said he would never leave you nor forsake you. So why must you do that to your daughter? I just don't get your times of preachers. You preach the word but don't walk in it. And honestly seeing how badly your treating her of off one thing she did even though she's basically been your perfect little angel. It's a shame. I pray I do better with my child then what your doing with yours.

I  just stared at him after loosing my cool. I turn to Mrs. Tracey.

Chresanto: I'm sorry for blowing up like that but it needed to be said. I hope you guys enjoy the rest of your evening.

James try to stop me put the door but I was done. I didn't want his bad parenting skills to rub off on me. I do good by my daughter.

Who expected that twist on Jada and Jordan's dad?
