Being Back Home, Brings Problems

Chresanto POV

When I got back to my house I took a deep breath before getting out the car. I walked inside my house seeing maddie talk with my mother. I smiled a little seeing them bonding like that. It made me feel good inside. They looked at me and smiled.

Chresanto: I probably shouldn't tell you this but.. I went to go see your parents.

Maddie: what !

She jumped up real fast walking over to me. I thought we was going to slap me.

Chresanto: before you slap me I got something to say.

I said getting higher and higher with every word. She looked at me and crossed her arms.

Maddie: what?

Chresanto: I understand why you don't wanna see your dad. When I talked to him today I realized how high he thought he was. He preaches the word but doesn't walk in it.. And I don't want my child around someone who doesn't even realize that people come short at times. And for him to even think he can't forgive you or me tells me all the information I know. He doesn't put you me or our daughter in a heaven or a hell. God does and as far as I'm concerned.. He forgave us. He's the only guidance we need. As long as we have him... We'll be alright.

She looked at me and smiled. Rapping her arms around me.

Maddie: I'm so lucky to have someone like you.

She whispered in my ear making me smile like a fool.

Chresanto: there's more..

Maddie: What is it?

Chresanto: your mother... Wants to talk to you. Can you please call her?

She nodded. Smiling a bit.

Maddie: I will.

Jordan POV

I sat in my room staring at the wall. Jada layed next to me as we tried to process what just happened. So many questions ran through my mind. When did this happen? How did this happen? How long has it been? And why haven't he told us!? There was a knock on the door and I jumped up. My dad walked in. He looked at us we looked at him.

Dad: I know y'all weren't just walking by... You guys were listening.

Jada and I looked at each other and back at dad.

Jada-Lee: are you guy-

Before she could get out the question he cut her off.

Dad: yes..

Jada: how long?

Dad: almost a year..

Jordan: and when were you going to tell us?

Dad: when I saw you guys this summer.. I just wasn't ready to tell you too when you guys surprised me.

I nodded. 

Dad: he's a nice guy.. Tonight we were going out to eat I was hoping you guys will come.

Jada-Lee: of course!

Jordan: were exactly are we going ?

Dad: I was thinking Applebee's

Jordan: yaas!

I smiled. My dad laughed at me and left us alone. I looked at Jada a she looked at me smiling. I could tell that my dad was happy and honestly.. If he's happy I don't care who he dates.

Maddie POV

I picked up my phone and dialed her number. As it rang I sat on Chres's bed and waited. I began to grow nervous. I haven't talked to her in almost 2 years.. Wow. I heard the ringing stop and someone breathing on the other line.

Mom: hello?

I panicked for a quick minute and threw my phone on the ground.

Mom: hello? Maddie ??

I walked to the phone and took a deep breath before picking it up putting it to my ear.

Maddie: hello?

Mom: hey sweetie..

Sam POV

Ray, Jacob  and I went to the store to get some snacks. We got a cart and started walking around the store goofyn around and getting a whole bunch of candy.  I got in the cart as Ray pushed me around with Jacob recording us. Ray not paying attention bumped into someone's butt. I looked back at home and gave him a look.

Ray: oh I'm so sorry.

The person turned around and looked at Ray and when I saw the person... I almost ran all the way back to New York. I had just came face to face with the bully of my life. Keisha.
