Jordan POV

I sat down on the bench frustrated. Jacob sat next to me breathing hard. I couldn't believe my eyes. We've lost every game since Chres leaved. Tonight determines we other we're going to the playoffs and by the way defense is playing.. We're not. Coach got frustrated with defense and broke the board. We walked over to Jacob Ray ej and I.

Coach: Ray and Jacob I need you out there.

Jacob: woahhh coach I don't play defen- (gco)

Coach: that's not what I said is it? I said I need you out there. Just stand right there and block number 42 together. If you too can stop him they won't make another point.

They nodded and grabbing there helmet walking out on the field. EJ dat next to me as we watched the rest of the game and when their quarterback said hike Ray and Jacob tried there hardest to stop him. Which they did. I was so relieved. But it didn't matter... Because we ran out of time. Frustratingly I ran into the locker room quickly changing and went for a run to the spot. Just to clear my head.

Maddie POV

Chresanto: man wtf are they doing?

I watched Chres as he watched Jordan Jacob and Ray play. He yelled at the tv like he was actually there. Jada and I laughed at him and he would just give us a look. When the game was over chresanto had seemed really mad like he had played the game.

Jada-Lee: they lost? Shit let me call Jacob.

She walked away from the room. I sat next to Chres grabbing his hand.

Maddie: you ok?

Chresanto: I'm fine... Are you too ok?

Maddie: we're perfectly fine chresanto.

Chresanto: good. Oh I have a surprise..

Maddie: what is it??

Chresanto: it wouldn't be a surprise if I told you know would it.

I nodded.

Chresanto: but I used my first 3 checks from playing with the New York Giants... Well practicing until coach thinks I'm really ready.

Maddie: what did you get? I just hope you spent your money wisely.

Chresanto: oh I did. Once Jada gets off the phone you'll see.

I nodded grabbing my phone.

Chresanto: oh we have to go to it too.

Jacob POV

Jacob: I don't remember know why the hell he put us out there like we've played defense a day in our lives

Jada-Lee: babe it's just like that movie Remember the Titans. Were the coach switched up Petey from running back to defense. And he was better at it. I think coach is just stretching your knowledge I guess you can say.

Jacob: yeah whateve- (gco)

EJ: have you seen Jordan?

Asked EJ threw the phone.

Ray: nope haven't seen her since the game.

Jacob: neither have I. Better go find her.

EJ: Shitt I will. I think I know where she is too.

Ray: oh shitt... 3 o'clock!

??: oh hey Jacob. Sorry about the lost.

A female voice had said. I started listening even closer now.

Jacob: it's all good. You have to lose first to win so. I'm ok. Plus my GIRLFRIEND helped me get over it .

He put emphasis on the girlfriend. So I fit it was the hoe he was messing with.

Jada-Lee: and his girlfriend is still on the phone!!

I yelled hopefully she heard me.

??: let me go then..

And I heard nothing of that voice again.

EJ POV

I ran up the hill finally making it seeing Jordan sitting on the edge looking out into the world. I watched her to see what she was going to do. She gets up picking up something threwing it letting our her anger. She steps closer to the end of the hill and throws something else. Her balance was uneasy. And I realized only half of her foot was in the ground the other was in the air. She was about to fall but she picked up another rock and took it back and I knew if she threw that... She falls. She knows that too. I ran towards her and she throws it throwing her self off balance and falling. She grabs onto the edge trying her hardest to pull herself up. She started screaming and that's when I grabbed her hand. She looked up at me with excitement. I used all my strength to help pull her up.

EJ: put your foot in something to help pull you up! I'm not going to be able to pull you up myself.

She nodded stepping in a ledge helping me pull her up. I pulled her up and hugged her tight.

Jordan: Omg EJ thank you!

EJ: don't you ever do that shit to me again!

Jordan: EJ I'm sorry I didn't know I was going to fall over like that.

EJ: thank god I came to look for you. I don't know what I would have done if you were gone. Don't scare me like that ok?

Jordan: ok. I won't. Wanna go to the gym?

EJ: them come home and fuck all night long?

Jordan: race you to the gym!

And Jordan took off. I laughed running after her. This girl really does have my heart.
