The Good Old Days

Jordan POV

I walked over to EJ's house. Weird because we haven't been this long from each other since he hated me. I walked over 2 houses to his and knocked on the door. I heard a "come in" from the inside so I opened the door walking inside. I saw EJ on the couch playing 2k with Chres. I wondered where Jacob and Ray were. I grabbed a remote and sat next to him and listened in to thier conversation waiting for the next game.

EJ: I think you should.. I know you love he-

Chresanto: let's talk about it later..

He said glaring at me. Thats when I knew he was hiding something about Maddie from me. But I didn't ask about it even though I wanted to know. After their game I joined in.. Chres and I teamed up on EJ. He mad he loosing 😂

EJ: y'all niggas cheated.

Chresanto: how you cheat in 2k?

Jordan: how? How? How?

Chres laughed. Putting down the controller.

EJ: this isn't over between us Jordan.

Chresanto: oooooo! He taking this to the bed!

I rolled my eyes and gave him the finger.

Jordan: yeah ok.

EJ: ok.. Keep playing, you going to find out.

I rolled my eyes as Chres started to get up. He said he had to get going. I looked over at EJ. Should I tell him about my dad now?

EJ: why you looking at me like that babe?

He asked while I stared at him knocking me out my thoughts.

Jordan: no reason, it's just my dad.. He's umm found someone he likes.

EJ: really? That's good for him! Soooo when do I get to meet her?

Jordan: never.

EJ: what you mean never?

Jordan: you'll never meet her because there is no her.. But there is a him.

EJ did a double take, staring at me.

EJ: your dad is gay?

Jordan: surprising right?

EJ: it is, I would have never expected that form your dad.

Jordan: I know right! But hey, he's happy.

EJ: and that's all that matters.

We sat there for a minute enjoying each other's company. Tomorrow Everyone leaves but EJ, Jacob, Ray and I. Sam and Jada have to get back to work. Chres has to get back to practice and Maddie is going with him. Jacob wants to stay with his family some more. Ray wants to stay with his siblings and catch up with them. EJ and I just wanna hang here... Because we miss it here.

Jordan: can we go by the school?

EJ: why?

Jordan: I miss it there, kind of. Even though a lot of bullshit happened there I miss the good times we had there. I feel like college really haven't gave us any real good times like high school did.

EJ: that's because we're not all together anymore.. But if you want to we can.

I smiled jumping up trying to pull him out his seat. EJ laughed at me and stood up. We walked out his house and down the street. Remembering the days we walked to school. When we got to the school we walked to the back were the bleachers were and sat on them looking out to the field. Remembering the days of playing on it. I pointed to a certain spot on the field.

Jordan: that's where I meet you.

He smiled pulling me closer to him.  Pointing to place on the field.

EJ: that's when I realized I didn't hate you.

I laughed smiling a bit.

Jordan: I'm glad you don't hate me.

After a while we decided to get going. We started our walk back to the house. I really did miss that place. It's where I started my career. A lot happened on that one field. EJ grabbed my hand as we walked pass his house to mines. When we walked in we found Jacob over. Must be with my sister. We walked up to my room and layed there eventually falling asleep
