The next morning Kravor took Tia outside. "Okay Tia, its time to teach you to hunt." He said, when the sun started to rise. Tia watched the sun rising and smiled, "Okay, Kravor." He responded. Kravor took Tia to a hole in the ground. "A vixen lives here, try to kill her." He told the pup. "Okay" Said Tia, going into the hole. Deep down in the hole was very dusty, but it looked as if nothing live here. There was a stirr in the back of the den, it made Tia nervous. He crept forward and faster than anything he had seen before spun out of the den and dashed down the forest, Tia quickly dashed out and chased the fox, it was so fast. He had never seen a fox move this quickly, he was shocked. But somehow he managed to catch up to the fox. "But- How!?" Screeched the fox, seeing the dog at her side, before she ran into a tree and hit the ground. Tia ran over to her and put his leg onto her back, holding her down. "How could you have possibly-!" She cried out before letting out a huff of breath. "I caught you!" Howled Tia happily. "Th-Thats impossible!" She yipped and cried. "Why?" asked the pup, looking down at the fox. "Because I am uncatchable!" She screamed. "Jeez, Self Centered much?" Said Tia. "What!?-No! I am literally uncatchable, I don't understand how you did this!" She spoke without much breath. The fox kicked the pup off and then took off and ran down the forest road, she then leaped into the sky and hovered. Tia stopped under her, staring at the floating fox in much confusion. "How did you-" asked Tia, but suddenly a force pulled him and the vixen up, and they began to teleport. "W-WAIT!" Cried Tia, but then he teleported.
When Tias eyes opened he was laying on nothing, just pitch blackness filled with stars, and the vixen sat before him. "Wha..Where am I?" Ask Tia to the space. "You are in space, the place that kept your mother trapped." said the Vixen, smirking. "You- You're.. Cadmean.." Said Tia, stumbling backwards. "Yess." Hissed Cadmean, her fluffy tail curling around her paws. "Why should your mother be the only one free?" She cooed. "Be-Because you are bad!" Stammered Tia. "Am I now?" She said, standing up. Tia flinched, expecting to get swated, but Cadmean turned away and trotted over to the sun. "Hey, how about we play a game?" asked the vixen. "Wha- N-no.." said Tia, even though he wanted to play a game being the puppy he was. "Come on.." said the Vixen, reaching into the sun and pulling out a very bright fire ball. "This is a star, the sun is made up of millions of them." Said Cadmean. "And you can play with them, just tap the sun." Tia couldn't resist. "Okay.." He said, getting up and nudging the sun. Suddenly the sun collapsed and stars spilled everywhere, floating away into space, only a small ring of light was left where all the stars should be. "Wow!" barked Tia excidedly, he began chasing the stars around. But suddenly he noticed how dark the earth was. "T-The earth!" screeched Tia, "Help me get the stars!" He cried. "Nah.." said Cadmean, laying down and falling asleep, Tia panicked and tried to gather all of the stars back.
Kravor cantered quickly back to the cottage and woke up Jada and Jax, explaining that the sun was gone and so was Tia. They all went outside and could only see a bit of the suns light, which was the remaining glow of the sun. They all quickly ran to a human village, Jax rode on Jada, because humans seemed to know much about astrology. Before they could speak to the humans, there was already a large man named Zhang Xian, planning to shoot at the large black animal who had ruined their sun. Kravor stared at the sun, noticing a vixen in the cast of light. "Cadmean.." He said, realizing what had happened. "Guys! Tia is up there, and they are going to shoot and kill him!" Said Kravor, quickly dashing to grab the bow and arrows. He slid into Zhang Xian who fell over and the arrow shot. Tia stared at the earth trying to regain all of the stars when an arrow was thrown at him, and it just missed him. His fur arched up, and the Vixen took pleasure in his franticness to retrieve the stars.
Laelaps stirred, her dreams taking over. She was running in a feild, Cadmean was no more but two inches ahead of her, she growled, so close but yet so far to catching the fox. "CADMEAN! STOP RUNNING!" She cried out. Suddenly she was hit and she fell to the ground, she quickly looked up to see her pup, Tia, chasing Cadmean. "Tia!?" She yelped. She suddenly jolted awake, panting and looking around. She stood up and walked outside, turning to the black sun and the shadow off a fox. "Oh Tia.." she said, her ears flattened before she ran off.
Kravor, Jada and Jax all fought to keep the bows and arrows away from Tia. "Leave him alone!" Screeched Jada, kicking at people. Laelaps suddenly ran through the human town, and stopped when she noticed the fight, then she noticed the arrows pointing at the sun. "Stop!" She cried, afraid her son would die, "You will kill him!" "Good!" said the man, calling more humans to help fight, over one hundred. "Laelaps! Go find help!" Cried Jada, who broke arrows with her hooves, Laelaps nodded and ran off to get help. As she ran through the forest, to her real target, her pup Cerberus, she alerted all the creatures to help.
She reached the dragons pit, which was where a large dragon lived named Esmeralda. She was a deep purple dragon. Laelaps moved slowly to not her wake up, she stirred but Lae was able to sneak past and travel down the tunnel to hell. When she reached the end of the tunnel, the world opened up into what looked like mars with fire, and a large castle, but the entrance to the castle was guarded by a huge gate, burning with the most raging of fires. A dog, a huge, massive, bulky dog, lay infront of the gates, he had three heads, all of them where asleep. Lae padded up to him, and she nudged him with her muzzle. "Huh..?" He said, waking up and focusing on the dog infront of him. "Look, miss, could you leav- M-Mom!?" He said, sitting up quickly. "Hello Cerby." She said, her tail wagging as she nuzzled her pup, who was now a full grown dog. "Do you remember Tia?" she asked. "Of course." responded Cerberus. "Tia is being attacked by humans, can you help? Please?" she whimpered. "Of course mom." Said Cerberus, getting up. "Lets go." They both dashed out, down the tunnel after Cerberus had told his caretakers Flame and Spark to guard the gates. They quickly dashed pass the dragon, which caused her to awaken, but they paid no mind to it and continued running. By time they got into the human town, it was a massicure. Humans, thousands, everywhere, mythology creatures everywhere, all fighting to take down the arrows. "Holy..This place is worse than hell.." Said Cerby. "Quickly, we must find your siblings." She told Cerberus before dashing into the flame war. Cerberus turned and ran the other direction. "Cwn Annwn!" He cried out, trying to find his sister. Cwn Annwn and a pack of dogs who looked just like her ran into Cerberus, the other two got up and continued to fight. "Cwn Annwn!" He cried out frantically, nudging his sister to stand. She stood and shook her body, looking at her massive brother. "Hello Cerby.." She said, turning back to the war. "Mother needs us, come with me." He said, turning and running to find mother. "Alright." responded Cwn, running after him. Fire engulfed the town, swords hit the ground, animals and people screeched. Cwn was further ahead of Cerberus by time she caught up, and Cerberus suddenly hit the ground by long tail lashing and hitting animals and people. Dazed, he looked up at the gigantic dragon, her purple fire burned every building. She ran through the town, snarling and roaring as she attempted to bite and eat her prey, which was much easier to catch now. Cerberuses paws burned like fire, but he managed to stand and run to find mother.
The battle was insane, Lae had to do something to get the sun back. She ran out of the flames, and began to spin around and around as if chasing a fox, soon she spun fast enough that the ground started to flame, creating a portal to space. She stepped inside, the portal sealed shut behind her. "Cadmean.." She said firmly, staring at the fox. She spun around quickly, "L-LAELAPS?!" She cried out. "But how!- You know what, I went through this before. If Laelaps can have a pup then she can obviously still be alive." Said Cadmean to herself. "M-Mom!" muffled Tia, holding a star in his mouth. Tia dropped the star and ran over to Lae. She nuzzled her pup and said "I see you have never forgotten the sun, my dear." He smiled and replied, "Never, because it reminds me of you." "I'll fix the stars, you chase the fox." She said, licking her pup on the nose before dashing away and using her powers of never failing to catch prey to catch the stars, while Tia chased down Cadmean and sat on her, keeping the vixen from escaping. "Let me go!" cried the Vixen in defeat. "No." said Tia, watching his mother reform the sun.
