I actually liked sports. I reported to the gym a little late because I got lost. Mrs. Rupper totally chewed me out for being late on the first goddamn day. Is this life? She continued to snap at everyone who came in late too, so I didn't feel too bad. I looked around the gym to see if I knew anybody and spotted Kyle, the boy who made a slick comment to me this morning in English class. So far, Kyle has been in all my classes, so asides from him being an asshole, he had to be smart.
"Hey!", Kyle called to me. "Sam!", he waved me over.
I jogged over to him. "Wassup?"
"I'm sorry for what I said earlier. I didn't mean it."
"It's cool. I don't pay ignorance any mind."
"Yeah. Anyways, whaddya think's up with that girl Krystal? She's fine. I'd break the bricks off of her.", he slobbered.
"You're a pig. She would never fall for you. She said she was gay remember?" I retorted.
"Yeah, but I got something every girl needs. Keep it up, and you can get it too." He laughed.
"Fuck you.", I spat.
Kyle and his imbecile friends cackled. I patiently waited for Ms. Rupper to give us our locks. "Barrett, locker 826, head out and get to know your combination, after that head to lunch", she yelled. She sounded so manly.
Getting my combination took me no time, and I headed towards the cafeteria.
