Prince Four's Pov
Today was another day of me up and cleaning my room and waiting for the maids. I go into Zeke's room and see Uriah and Zeke playing Call of Duty.Love that game. Mean while I get my turn and we're fighting for the controllers. Then I see someone looking at us and then they hide. "Guy's I think someone is watching us?"I say. Zeke says "its probably noone just the maid's." Then Uriah being the dumb person ever says "Or a ghost hehehe" I mouth idiot. Then I feel a woosh of air run by me and I know I wasn't seeing things then their is a loud clatter. "Don't worry about it Four" I say to my self. We start back playing Call of Duty. Im trying to beat Zeke's high score. Then we start yelling at each other. And Christina and a new maid i've never seen before walk in. We look at them and they curtsy. Why do people have to curtsy all the time its annoying. "Hi Christina" we say. And she says hi back. "Is she the new maid?"I ask while looking from Christina and to the other girl she has blonde hair and icey blue eyes. "No shes just helping me out with your guy's rooms"Christina says. "this is Prince Four,Prince Zeke,and Prince Uriah."she says while pointing to us. "hi" we say. And she says hi back. " whats your name?" I ask while staring at her not taking my eyes off of her shes beautiful. " Um Tris" she answers. Then Christina clears her throat breaking me from my daze looking at Tris. "Um GET OUT"Christina says. And we run out of the room while they clean Zeke's room. When Christina and Tris are done Christina takes a brake. I follow Tris into Uriah's room to watch her clean. She so beautiful when she cleans and is quick. she looks up and notices me watching her clean. And says "do you need anything?" "No"I say. And when shes done she checks her watch she says "Oh crud". I have a worried look on my face is she ok I look down at her watch it reads 6:58pm. "whats wrong?"I ask. "I have to be home by 7pm so i can cook dinner for my step mother and sisters." She curtsy's making me smile she looks cute when she curtsy's. Then she runs past me and goes over to Christina and hugs her and says she'll see her tomorrow. And again she curtsy's to me Zeke and Uriah and she runs down stairs. I decide to watch her. She unties her horse really fast and hops on and says "yah" and rides off. Eric says something about "love you tris" and she says "SHUT UP ERIC!!"and he laughs. I roll my eyes playfully. I talk to Marcus about hosting a ball tomorrow tonight. "sure then you can find yourself a wife" he says excited and gives a maid letters to give to the grand duke and deliver the at 7am tomorrow morning. I thank him and now i'm excited to see Tris tomorrow so I can ask her if shes going to the ball. Hopefully she says yes.
Prince Fours Pov
The next day wake up at 7am and look out my royal window and wonder where Tris lives. Once again we play a video game but this one is Pac-Man. I hear Tris outside with Eric and Peter again and go fix my self up so i can ask if shes going. I hear Tris talking to Marcus. "King Marcus may I have a job here i would love to work here I work for my step mother but the I have time off and I came here yesterday to work with my friends and helped Christina with the Prince's rooms and all-." she starts. But Marcus cuts her off. "Yes I would love to have more workers what are you available times?" he asks her." From 2pm-6:55pm."she says. Marcus says "good now go clean the Prince's rooms with Christina right away."she nods and curtsy's right away and runs into the maid servants kitchen. I hear Christina talking to Tris how Will asked her to the ball. Marlene tells Tris Prince Uriah asked her to the ball. Then Shauna says Prince Zeke asked her to the ball. Lynn is going with Peter. "who are you going with?"Christina asks Tris. "I dont know my step mother decides if I can go."she says plus she got a job as the maid here. Christina,Marlene,and Shauna scream. Lynn rolls her eyes. Then I hear Marcus through the speaker saying for them to get to work. As usual Christina and Tris clean the rooms. But this time Christina takes Zeke's and Tris takes Uriah's. I follow Tris into the room and watch her she looks up at me. "do you need anything?"she asks. Once again "Nope"I say. She laughs. Her laugh is so adorable "Are you going to the ball tonight?"I ask her. "I don't know my step mother has to decide that for me"She says while sighing. "Oh"I say and look down. She looks like she feels bad for me. She finishes early and hangs with her friends and Zeke,Uriah and I. She looks at her watch and it reads 6:58pm. She jumps up and curtsy's and runs down the stairs I follow and help her untie her horse and watch her jump on her horse and gallop away. "love you see you tonight Tris love you honey"Eric says. And Tris yells "SHUT UP ERIC!!!". I laugh and watch her run away on her horse to her house.
Tris pov
When I get home I made dinner fast and I'm done in seconds then when I'm done with all my chores to witch gives me I ask her if I can go to the ball she says "only if you do 20 more chores and make sure the floors are spotless and I can see my reflection in them." I mumble "Who would want to see your reflection?" she looks at me"What did you say?"
"I said yes stepmother" covering up what I really said.
Time laps________to when chores are done
Tris pov
I go down to step mother and my sister's and say "I'm ready I did all my chores stepmother and helped all of you with you accesseries"I say. And come flying down the stairs in my beautiful pink dress my mother wore. "That dress is hidious you can't go to the ball in that."stepmother says. "Yeah its ugly" Molly and Lauren say at the same time. I have tears in my eyes now and the next thing I know their tearing the dress apart I look down and sob hard. Once their done stepmother says "Enough girls now let's go."
"Yeah she looks ugly enough crybaby." Lauren and Molly snort and laugh. And slam the door. I run I just run and cry my heart out sobbing and sobbing I hate my life.
