Her head swirled with emotions she never thought could exist, let alone be expressed by her.

Her senses heightened, she could smell burning flesh, and hear the screams filled with such pain from miles away.

"Angel!!" She heard a boy's voice yell.

It was familiar, comforting and warm. Yet, she couldn't bring herself to remember who possessed such a voice.

The voice belonged to someone she cared deeply for, someone who was by her side for a time, someone who stood up for her and protected her.

Someone she loved.

But she couldn't remember who it was. What he looked like, how he acted, not even his voice which had been displayed to her twice just now.

"Angel!!" The voice screamed again, sounding more desperate this time.

There it was, the voice again. She remembered it for the time it was heard, but once it stopped, she couldn't seem to grasp it again.

What was his name? What did he look like? What did he wear? Why was he yelling?

Was he calling her? Was her name Angel?

'No, my name is Kailee.' She thought.

The burning buildings in front of her made her fear more pronounced, and her sadness and anger seemed to follow.

"KAILEE!!" The boy called again, and she could hear his emotions.

Fear, sadness, guilt, desperation.

But most of all... Love.

She could make out the boy's name now, just barely.

"DANNY!!"

CeCe could only watch as Kailee glanced to Danny and collapsed into a heap.

Danny was by her side immediately, concern clearly visible on his features.

"What happened?" Danny questioned.

"I don't know. She was perfectly fine a few seconds ago. It was when she saw you she fainted." CeCe explained.

CeCe didn't know what to make of this. She had a limit and whether she meant it or not, Kailee was pushing her over it.

They both watched, useless, as Kailee twitched on the ground, confusion on her face.

It was obvious she was dreaming, they
both knew.

About what would remain unknown as they silently waited and hoped she would be okay.

A boy came into view. He had raven black hair and electric blue eyes.

His clothes were torn and she was positive she saw tear stains on his pale cheeks.

He ran forward and gripped her shoulders. "We have to find Darry and Jason and get out of here. There's nothing we can do anymore." She realized he was the voice who called to her before.

She didn't know what he was talking about, but somehow found herself speaking.

"We have to! I can not stand by and watch people die! I am an Angel! I may be your Guardian Angel, but I was also raised my God. The Lord protects everyone, and so will I!"

"I don't want to see you die! Don't you get that? I love you!" He screamed, tears threatening to spill from his bloodshot eyes.

"If you love me, you'll let me go! I can not go on living, knowing I left others to suffer! Understand that!" Kailee's mouth moved, but not on her will.

Danny spoke again, his breathing heavy and eyes closed. "Come back alive. Please."

"I can't promise that, but I will try my best." Kailee promised.

She turned and took off towards the red and orange sky, filled with thick smoke.

Her wings fluttered slightly and her expression turned from confusion to sadness, then anger. Tears came from her eyes, and Danny sat there holding her hand, trying to stay calm.

CeCe closed her eyes and prayed to Kailee's Father everything was going to be okay.

"God dammit..." CeCe muttered.

"Was it all a lie? My life?! Did the other Angels know?! Is that why they shunned me? Is this why my eyes are like they are?"

"I'm sorry, Kailee. I had faith in you. I knew you could become something better. I just hoped that your discovery didn't come down to this." He motioned to the destruction around them.

"If you had told me, none of this would have happened! No one would be suffering!" Kailee screamed.

"Except you." God told her sadly.

Kailee sat up screaming.

CeCe and Danny immediately tried to seize the cries of the young Angel, who clutched onto Danny's shirt as if it were the only thing keeping her from death.

Kailee knew what it was, knew that it was a vision.

One that was very well coming soon.

One that she wished she'd never seen.

'Lord, why did you lie to me?' Kailee thought with sorrow.

She stayed silent from her friend and crush, expect for her hushed sobs that shook her small frame throughout the time.

She couldn't take the truth. She couldn't take knowing who she really was and was supposed to be.

She couldn't take it.

She shattered.

Hope you guys like!! I know you're probably curious onto what is going on, but you'll find out soon. Bye, my little doggies!
