Ms. Charity noticed how Danny got his grades back up.
She had been helping him, and told him to talk to Kailee about what was going on. He'd told her that Kailee felt guilty and told him she was fine in Hell and demons treated her good.
Ms. Charity sighed. She wondered when she'd get to meet this mysterious girlfriend of Danny's. She seemed really important to him.
At first, she'd doubted his story. But why would he lie about the reasons for his grades? How could he come up with such a story in a few measly seconds?
The answer was, he couldn't. Which proved he wasn't lying. And on top of that, Danny was a horrible liar.
Ms. Charity locked up for the day, since she was the last to leave, and got into her car.
She was halfway out of the parking lot, when a figure tumbled over the hood of her car.
It was so fast, it was a blur. She could make out black, and some bright, glowing blue.
She slammed on her brakes and jumped out of the car. She had to make sure the person was okay.
What she saw shocked her. A girl with brown hair was on the ground. She wore a black tank top and jean shorts. Her shoes were black and white high tops.
Her eyes were grey with a crimson pupil, and she had blue fire horns. The girl had a two yard long tail with a fuzzy tuft that was lit on blue fire at the end of it. Her fingernails were claws and her ears were about 5 inches long, narrow and pointed. Her top and bottom canines were sharp and deadly as she scowled.
'Kailee.' Ms. Charity's mind realized numbly.
She couldn't believe this was the girl that her student dated. She looked so feral, so animalistic. Danny had described her as sweet and kind. Innocent, even.
Kailee lunged at a black shadow that had suddenly come into view. She tackled it and growled. Kailee lifted her hand and built a blue fire ball in it.
She threw it at the shadow and it screeched, before dissipating.
Kailee turned to Ms. Charity and her demeanor changed instantly.
Kailee smiled kindly. "Hi. You must be Ms. Charity. I'm Kailee. Nice to meet you." She held her clawed hand out in front of her.
Ms. Charity didn't know why, but she smiled. "Nice to meet you too." And she took the girl's hand.

"So why are you here? Above ground, I mean. Is that what you call it?" Ms. Charity asked awkwardly.
Kailee laughed in the passenger seat.
She had turned back to her 'human' form and curled her tail under her tank top. She had her black beanie on too.
"I'm here because a rogue demon escaped from Hell. And it's not 'above ground'. It's Assiah."
(Took that from Blue Exorcist too.)
"Oh." Ms. Charity breathed. "Well, I've wondered when I was going to meet Danny's girlfriend."
Kailee blushed. "He was right, you are mean!"
Ms. Charity laughed. "It's kind of ironic. He nicknamed you Angel, and you were the exact opposite."
When Ms. Charity realized what she'd said, she panicked. "Oh! I'm sorry, I didn't mean to-"
She was cut off as Kailee chuckled. "Relax. It's fine. It is kind of ironic, though."
Ms. Charity smiled and kept driving.
