Lucas apologized and found a seat that was inconveniently next to mine. I didn't mind but the guy had been an asshole back outside.
"Okay children, for our first assignment you will work in pairs, I've already paired you up before the class begun and you can check who your partner is in the announcements board. Now please don't scream or run towards it and as soon as you picked up your partner's name, find a seat besides him or her" the teacher smiled and pointed at the board.
We all got up and walked towards it but I wasn't fast enough so a long queue stood before me.
I watched Lucas return to his seat as the line moved onwards. He didn't turn to anyone, as if he didn't have a partner or something.
Patience had never been my best feature, but luckily for me, I was almost there.
Once I got there I read with my inner voice.

I glanced at Lucas who smirked at me and walked besides me.
"Hi asshole" I said without even looking at him. Today wasn't the best day to bump into me that was clear.
"Hi bitch" he replied equally uninterested.
"Okay class, for this first assignment you will have to simply get to know each other. There is a list of questions you both have to ask each other. Every question has to be answered by your partner and every question must also be asked, if that's not the case, both students will fail the course"
Failing the course is the worst thing that could happen, because you weren't allowed to take it again, which meant that either you'd be single your whole life, or have an illegal relationship.
"Also, the questions may be a little... Uh, out of place some times, but it's all in order to see how you handle yourselves, any doubts?" She finished talking but nobody raises their hands.
"That's okay, class dismissed you can grab your question sheets on your way out, oh, I almost forgot, this assignment is due tomorrow!" She said and we all picked our stuff up so as to leave.
"Gues we'll have to spend some more time together bitch" Lucas grinned.
"Most definitely not looking forward to it" I told him with a cold expression as we walked out.
