He looked to me with wary eyes but maintained a steady and strong voice, "They think you are not good enough for their sons."

I looked to him then to everybody and among them was Derek in the middle of them all and Omar at the far backside with his men, looking at me with his full attention.

I took the microphone and put it close to my lips. "They can go ahead and think what they like because apparently their sons aren't worth my time either," I insulted with a light laugh.

Most of the women gasped as some covered their mouths, laughing along with the men. I smiled and spoke again, "So with that being said, I chose no one because no one in this room did not meet my expectation nor even got to the list of likings."

I gave the microphone back to Hue who had a smile on his face. He leaned down and placed a kiss on the side of my head. "Goodnight, sweetheart," he whispered. I went to the edge of the stage and extended my hand out to Derek who pushed through the crowd.

I smiled and placed my hands on his shoulders as he placed his on my hips. I was then picked up and gently put down on the ground. Derek snaked his arm around my waist and led us back to our changing rooms.

Before I had shut the door, Derek handed me my phone. I looked down at it then to him. "Call him. I know you're starting to miss him just as much he does you."

With a deep breath, I took the phone and nodded. Derek smiled and gave me a kiss on the forehead. "I'll be waiting for you out here."

I closed the door and locked it. I grabbed my clothes and headed for the bathroom. Setting my clothes down I scrolled to his information and clicked on it to call.

I placed my phone down after putting it on speaker and after three rings it went to straight to his voicemail. I ended the call and didn't even bother to try again. "Stupid alpha," I grumbled. I took the item out and glared at it, flicking its forehead. "You jerk. I was really hoping to talk to you."

Looking at myself in the mirror, I actually felt beautiful for once. I never worn anything close to a skirt and when I dressed up, it was nothing like this.

My phone vibrated against the countertop and when I looked it was him. I growled and glared at the item in my hand. "Stupid alpha, what makes you think I'll pick up?!" I mumbled angrily.

I declined the call and changed out of the dress and put on my regular clothes. Putting the dress back on the hanger and the shoes back on the wall, I headed out after making sure I had all my stuff on me.

My phone once again going off and again it was him. I swung the door open and Derek was leaning against the wall with his arms crossed. He looked up then down at my vibrating phone. "He didn't pick up, huh?"

For some reason I was beginning to get really emotional, so tears was forming in my eyes and blurring my vision. "No, he didn't so he's been trying to get ahold of me." I sniffled then threw my head back so I wouldn't cry. "I think I'm having my period soon. I'm starting to get really sensitive and emotional."

I looked to Derek and sniffled again. He gave me a small smile and patted my head. "Pick your phone up okay? Maybe that'll help ease you down a bit."

I bit my lip as my phone continue to vibrate in my hand. With that, I threw my phone in my bag and walked off to the back staircase. "Stupid alpha thinks I'm going to pick up his damn calls. He can go to hell!" I angrily mumbled as tears formed.

Derek soon followed behind and swung his arm around my shoulders, bringing me close to him. "Baby cakes, everything is going to be okay. We'll get through this together alright?"
