Christmas Dinner

*The day before Christmas. December 24.* Surely everyone is busy preparing for the Christmas dinner, Jane, Raffy and Giette are no exception. After finishing their work, the three friends met in a shopping mall to buy for the foods they're going to make. "How's your first day of work?" Raffy asked, looking at their groceries list. "It was fantastic. I really had fun." Giette answered while both her and Jane are pushing their cart. They just didn't buy foods but also decoration for their apartment. This is their first Christmas in Seoul and that makes them feel more excited and ecstatic, the glow in their eyes seeing every streets with full of Christmas decorations and Christmas songs in every corner. "Are the boys coming?" Raffy asked, starting the engine. "Uhuh." Jane responded, sitting in the passenger seat buckling up the seatbelt. "Boys? 2PM?" Giette who's at the back; "Who else?" Jane pleaded. "Are they all coming?" "Of course?" "Ugh." Giette rolled her eyes. "Why? You don't wanna see Junho?" Jane grinned; "Why would I want to see that jerk?" Giette crossing her hands. "Why? What's with Junho?" Raffy heading to the highway. "They're frienemies." Jane trying to tease Giette; "Just... Enemies. Not frienemies." "Junho is nice and friendly though?" Raffy who's puzzled after hearing what they were talking about, "Nice? And friendly? Maybe to you guys but not to me." Silence filled up their car, "Ugh is it possible for him to not come, Jane?" "Come on, give the person a chance to show who really he is." "He's showing his true colours though?! I can see how nice and caring he is to you guys. But to me, we just don't get along well." "Surely someday you will." Raffy meddled in their conversation making Giette shake her head in disbelief and release a big sigh. Finally home, the three of them changed their clothes to a comfortable one, Jane and Raffy head their way to the kitchen to prepare for the food, they still have four hours left to finish everything. Giette is in charge of decorating the living room and prepare for the games since she's not good at cooking, she started to play the radio and put the volume high to make them feel the Christmas more; "Yeaaahhh!" Raffy screamed raising the knife he's using to cut the vegetables, Giette and Jane laughed and made some noise as well. They're having fun doing everything, seems like these three are full of energy the way they work and prepare for the dinner. The time passed by as they were about to finish everything up. "What time is it?" Jane sneaked a peek at the wall clock, it's already ten forty in the evening. She ran towards her bedroom to get her phone, as she grabbed it she went to the living room and put the radio's volume low trying to call Nichkhun. She tried to call him twice but he was not answering, she then decided to call one of the members. "Oh, Chansung-ah." "Aigoo annyeonghaseyo noona!" "Where are you now?" "Aaiishh we're stucked in a traffic, but for sure we'll get there before the dinner." "Are you with your Khun hyung?" "Oh yes speaking of Khun hyung, he left first, he said it's an urgent matter but he'll get to our dinner." "Ah I see. Araso Chansung-ah. We'll wait for you guys, take care" "Yeh noona." Jane who was left puzzled thinking what could be the urgent matter that came to Nichkhun, but she didn't try to message him and wait for him instead. *2PM's van* Chansung who kept his phone in his pocket after the conversation with his Jane noona; "Oh..? Is that Khun hyung?" Wooyoung startled, staring out their window but can't see very well due to the snowfall. "Where?" Taecyeon staring too, as Wooyoung pointed out the person he was looking at. "Yaahh it really is Khun." Jun.K stated; "Omo.. is that Victoria-ssi?" Wooyoung again saw Khun helping a girl to enter a building, he then stared at the building where they are heading to; "Yaaahhh I'm sure it's Victoria-ssi, this is their penthouse." He added. Junho who took out his phone and tried to call Nichkhun, the members watched the two as both of them stopped and Nichkhun took out his phone, "Yoboseyo?" "Khun hyung." "Oh Junho-ah, what's the matter?" "Where are you? We're already heading to Jane-ssi's apartment." "Ah, w..well I'm still at the company." After hearing him lie, the members were left in a state of shock. Junho gritted his teeth, "Araso hyung. We'll wait for you there." He ended up the phone call. The members became speechless, thinking that there's nothing to lie about if he's not doing something wrong. "W..what should we do?" Wooyoung whose face started to worry as he thinks about Jane, "Of course we're going to the dinner and pretend that everything's fine." Jun.K answered, "Can we do that? It seems like we're trying to cover up Khun's mess." Taecyeon added; "So we're not going to their apartment and disappoint her more? Is that what you want?" Junho leaned on the head-rest of his seat closing his eyes. "Junho hyung is right." Chansung agreed, "We can't just leave Jane noona. It's for her not for Khun hyung to cover him up." He added.
