Natsu's POV:
It was so calm. The sky, the clouds, the wind. I let the air course through my body, weaving through the clouds as I circled upwards, then falling back down again.

"Whooo! Now that's what I'm talking about!" I grinned my signature grin and flew higher. I felt free, like I could do anything. The sky was my kingdom, my palace, my happiness. Never will I ever let it go.

I passed a village nearby and decided to sneak a peak at what the villagers were up to. I sat on a cloud and watched the people with interest.

Everyone looked busy, selling fruits and vegetables in the market, washing up horses, getting them ready for a whole days work, some were even negotiating about selling houses to the buyers. They were all pretty boring jobs, but I bet the most boring job there was, was the job of being King.

"All that paper work and sitting around must have fatten the old man up!" I chuckled as I spread out my wings and flew, bringing mischief and trouble along with me.

One of the villagers gasped in surprise, "Look! It's him!" I landed on the kingdom's square, tucking in my wings, only to find the villagers gathering around me. They all glared at me. I grinned, my canine teeth showing. I glanced at one of the shops nearby and walked over. It was a weapons shop, strange that it was in this particular spot. The blacksmith payed no attention to me as I walked over. He was busy crafting a newly ordered sword.

"What brings you here, dragon? Are you here to buy a weapon or to steal one like last time?" The blacksmith asked.

I grinned, "Neither. I have no use for weapons. At least, not right now."
The blacksmith glanced at me questioningly, then continued crafting the sword, "Then why are you here? A creature like you is not wanted in a humane and civilized kingdom like this. His majesty will have your head if you don't leave now."

"Psh, I'm not afraid of that old geezer. He could gather all his men here and they wouldn't be any match for me. Plus, I have a reason why I'm here. 'His majesty' summoned me."

The blacksmith took his hot sword of steel and placed it in a large bucket of water. The metal steamed and cooled a little. The blacksmith then gently picked up the sword to give it a final look. "Well then, you better wish yourself some luck. They say the king is different now, ever since that day. Watch your back, dragon. You ain't the only one who got power, don't forget that."

I nodded and left the shop, taking a little something with me...
