Lucy's POV:
"The what!? Where is he from?!" I shouted. This can't be right! I can't, I won't let him get away! I'll take him back to the castle! Father will surely accept a prisoner from the south from me!

"Did you not here me? I said he was from the south. And you call yourself a princess..." Natsu made a "tsk" sound and pretended to be disappointed in me. Annoyed, I ignored him.

"Wait...you call yourself a princess. Princess from where exactly?" Gray asked. Maybe I can launch a surprise attack on him or something...

"The north," I answered. Gray was shocked, I can see it in his eyes, but he didn't answer. He must be thinking about something.

"So what are you going to do? You two I mean? You are both from different parts of the world...I wonder what's gonna happen," Natsu wasn't helping. In fact, I really wish he would leave.

But it's not like asking him to leave is going to work. He seems to like me being annoyed. I sighed. There is no way I can take him back to Father, not while Natsu is here. "I can't do anything. I am sworn to my Father's contract that I am ordered to serve the dragon and do as he says. As much as I want to turn you in right now, I can't. I can't disobey my Father. I won't."

Natsu looked at me strangely, like he didn't like the way I said what I said. It doesn't matter, I thought, he may have the ability to tell me what to do, but he can't change the way I think about things. "Then that gives me every right to turn you in," Gray grinned an evil grin and I took a step back. I have my keys with me, I thought, I can at least put up a fight.

I glared at his cold, icy eyes and took out one of my keys. I forgot to mention that Virgo and Cancer were also celestial spirits that come to my aid whenever I need help. Fortunately, I have their keys right here... "Open, gate of the Maiden," Virgo's key glowed a bright yellow as I summoned her using my incantation, "Virgo!" I exclaimed. The ground started to shake and up came Virgo from underneath the ground. Gray, wide-eyed, looked at Virgo in astonishment.

"Yes, Princess?" Virgo looked at me, then glanced at the two boys in front—well, a boy and a dragon to be exact. "Anything you need?"

"You're a celestial spirit wizard! That's so cool!" Gray had this look of complete astonishment.

I blushed a little, "What? Huh?"

"I believe the ice-make wizard is complimenting your abilities, Princess. He seems like a kind man from the north." Virgo just stood there, beside me, her hands clasped against her chest. I stared at her.

"Awkward..." Natsu didn't help. He just stood there, laughing at everyone.

"Alright, Princess. Enough fun and games, you're coming with me," Gray almost seemed like he didn't want to fight. He held out his hand for me to take. I shoved it away and glared at him.

"No way. I'm not going with you. Not without a fight. Virgo!" I glanced at Virgo and she nodded. She dug back into the earth to launch a surprise attack on Gray. I took out my whip and showed it off, progressively coming closer to Gray as he backed off.

"Ice-make..." Gray was stopped with a sudden eruption from the earth. He bounced back, almost expecting that to happen. He grinned. My face was serious. He continued his chant and I gathered every fiber of my body to whip him, while at the same time Virgo would do the same. Our attacks were in unison, and we were strong in that way, but not strong enough. Just when I was about to whip him once more, he finished his incantation, "Shards!" I flinched back. Gray spread his arms out, the ice forming shards from his fingers. They shot out like arrows, sharp and on point. Virgo protected me, which I was very thankful for, and we continued fighting.

Eventually, Gray won. I was in the middle of the battle field, kneeling down and gasping for breath. My dress became even more ragged and my hair was all over the place. Virgo was sent back to the Celestial World, for I knew I already lost and didn't need her help anymore. It really didn't matter to me whether I lost or not, I just didn't want to go with the ice bastard.

"Hey Natsu," Gray called. The dragon was leaning on one of the stalagmites in the cavern. He looked uninterested in our little quarrel, even though he said he was right before.

"Yeah?" he answered.

"You didn't tell her yet, did you?"

"Nope," Natsu grinned and made a little "teehee" sound, as if he was being mischievous on purpose.

Curious, I asked, "What's going on? What did you not tell me?"

Natsu looked my way, his eyes somewhat glowing. Gray, arms crossed, waited for him to answer. "Go on, Flame Brain. Tell her," he said. He was also leaning on one of the stalagmites, eyes closed, and clothes stripped off. Is that a thing for him? I looked at Natsu, expectantly. He had this look that told me something bad was gonna happen.

"I'm from the south, too."

And something bad it was.
