Merry late Christmas, everyone!!! Hope you all had an awesome day with your families and friends yesterday!!! ;3

"Princess, I heard you have a request for us?" King Makarov started as soon as he and the other noblemen sat down.

I nodded and stood up, pushing my seat back, my hands pressed hard against the dining table, "Yes, I do." I looked at everyone in the eye, including the king, and spoke once more, "Your kingdom is in danger and so is your people! You know about the war that's coming, yes?"

Murmurs and whispers of agreement. I continued, "Well then, that time has come, and I want to ally with the South in overthrowing the Northern Kingdom." My expression was no joke. The socializing was over. No one was joking around here.

"Princess, that's not very 'man' of you to say that. Going against your kingdom, your father; not manly at all," Elfman argued. He was seated in his chair, arms crossed, and feet against the table. Well he has manners...

I sighed and closed my eyes, deep in thought, "I know. But you know what? Those who decide to walk the path of selfishness, are not those who should be chosen to rule. All my life, I was just following everything, obeying everything, and I never even bothered to ask why. I did what I was told like a robot given directions to do something. That changed when I met Natsu."

Some eyes were wide, some were the same. "You met Natsu? Natsu Dragneel? Where is he, now, if you don't mind me asking?" A boy named Romeo Conbolt asked. They must be good friends, judging by his bright expression. He wore a normal suit, just like all the other men, but with a dark yellow bandana around his neck.

"I have. Right now, he's fighting my father's troops, helping me stall some time to talk to you all," I answered.

"And Gray-sama?" A girl named Juvia Lockser, added. I looked at her. She also stood up, her fingers pressing against the dining table, "Where is my beloved Gray-sama? Princess, you must know." She wore a blue dress with different layers, all different shades of blue. It was cute and it suited her blue wavy hair perfectly. This must be Gray's girlfriend...or wife.

"At the moment, he is also fighting some troops near the tunnel passageway. I used that door to get here. He saved me, and I want to do the same," I answered to her, looking determined. "When both Natsu and Gray saved me, I knew I needed to repay them back. They both taught me something..." I clenched my hands into a fist and looked at King Makarov.

"And what did those numbskulls teach you, my dear Princess Lucia?" The king asked. I looked away, then turned my attention towards everyone again.

"They taught me to never give up!"

The silence and the shock was only faint, so I continued.

"Natsu taught me that there were limits in my own abilities, that I can't just run away or try to hide from all this. Gray taught me that we are number one, that Fairy Tail is number one, and if they mess with one of you guys, they mess with all of you guys."

"And that's a true fact!" Erza complimented. Shouts of agreement came raging on the dining table. Feet stomping, fisting pounding, shouts screaming, they were everywhere. They were heard.

I grinned, "Fairy Tail doesn't back down. Fairy Tail is the strongest. Fairy Tail is family, and as a family, we fight together. Fairy Tail is the core of our pride. Fairy Tail is the strength we depend on, and what we use to fight. So, King Makarov and all of the Southern Kingdom," I got out of my seat and bowed, "please accept my offer in over throwing the Northern Kingdom. No, I am mistaken. Please help me save my home and the friends that I love so much."

"Love rival!" Juvia answered. I looked at her, confused.

"H-Huh? Love r-rival?" I asked.

"No one gets between Juvia and her Gray-sama!" Juvia exclaimed. Whispers of laughter came all around the table. I looked at everyone, still confused.
