Sorry I haven't updated in a long time! Hope you enjoy!

Erza gave me some formal clothes to wear and other things right after she showed me my room. I asked Virgo and Cancer to aid me with my attire and look for this meeting with the King.

I wore a pink dress layered with pink silk fabric at the bottom. The dress was full of ruffles and had white ribbons tied against my back and around the dress's poofed up waistline. I wore pink gloves and a white ribbon to tie my hair up into a cute bun, and a white choker around my neck. I wore the heart shaped earings that my mother gave me when I was young, and a few celestial charms that Virgo had given me for my birthday just last year. Virgo also helped me with my makeup and Cancer—as usual—helped me with my hair.

"You look beautiful, Princess!" Virgo exclaimed. I blushed a little.

"Astonishing! Alright, Princess, time to send you off! You have a meeting to attend!" Cancer snipped his scissors and I giggled.

"Thank you, both of you! You can leave now. Thanks for your help, you guys," I sent them off.

"You look beautiful, Princess!" Erza waited at my door and escorted me to the hall where the meeting would take place. She curtsied, and took my hand as we walked down the hall of rooms on each side of the narrow, red carpeted, golden walled, and beautifully detailed path, my pink heels silently clacking on my feet.

"Thank you," I greeted her formally, like I was taught. We walked for only a short time, for the hall was only a few minutes away from my room.

It was a dining hall—where we had our meeting—filled with beautifully candle-lit chandeliers that glowed and lighted the whole room, a long dining table that stretched all the way to the end of the hall and back, containing rows and rows of decor down the middle of the table. Each seat had a red velvet cushion to match the roses, sewed on with golden laces that were fine and very detailed. Two rows—both on either side—each contained finely sewed—also with golden laced details—table linens, a napkin folded to the king's liking, wine glasses—all for different types of wine and other alcoholic beverages—Lalique royal water glasses made from the purest of crystals that can ever be found in the world, silver utensils, and candles to bring out a little "pizzaz" for this dinner meeting. There were twenty-seven seats, meaning twenty-seven people were coming—probably nobles or other members of royalty—not including me.

I wonder if Erza will be joining us...

I wonder if Gray is still fighting out there...

I wonder if something happened to Natsu...

"It is almost time, Princess. Please, sit down. Make yourself comfortable," Erza was still holding my hand as we approached the table. I nodded and sat next to her. So, it looks like she will be joining us after all. What a relief...

People started entering the dining hall the moment I sat down. Two white haired ladies with fine dresses are escorted by a white haired man with a tux on. The man's hair was long and spiky, almost like Natsu's but even longer. His bangs are almost slicked back, but not all the way back. He has black eyes that were so tiny compared to the whites of them. He has broad arms and a giant muscular chest that is unbelievable to the eye. A scar was shown on his right eye, stitched up and healed. He must have been in a fight or two to get that thing on his eye... As for the two ladies, one was younger and smaller than the other, almost my age. She had short, straight hair with bangs that barely covered her left eye. She has blue eyes, in fact, the most prettiest blue I have ever seen. They glistened a happy glow, and sparkled against the candlelight. The other lady, much older and taller—but not quite as tall as the white-haired man—had long curly hair that stretched all the way to her lower back. She also had blue eyes, but a much darker blue than the other lady's. Her dress was back with white ruffles where the breast line was, and some ruffles around the waistline. She wore red heals and what looked like a black ribboned choker on her neck. Her bangs were tied in a cute mini pony tail and hung away from her face. The three of them must be siblings. It was pretty obvious by the way they stuck together and by the color of their hair.

Another group of nobles came in—or at least that's what I thought they were. A girl with brown, wavy hair that went all the way down her back, entered the hall in a slight drowsy way. She wore a purple dress with laces where her chest was. Her breast line was covered with black fabric that was almost see through, having those detailed linen just below her collarbone. She wore black gloves that extended from her elbow all the way down to her hands. On her hands, she held a bottle—probably an alcoholic drink—and a cute bag on her other hand. She had a black stoned choker on and a pair of black boots that covered half of her thighs. The other half was just bare skin, since the dress stopped there. She looked dizzy, almost drunk, but she was handling it fine. A cat was with her, a blue cat. He was entirely blue except for his chest, that was white, and the tip of his tail, which was also white. He had a bow tie on and a green...backpack? Or was it a bandana? Well whatever it was, it was green and he wore it. Also, he had a physical feature that I'd never seen before...

Wings.

Wait...wings!?

The cat can fly? Huh? Is that even possible? I blinked and stared at the cat. No, I'm not imagining things. There is a blue, flying cat right in front of me...never thought I'd see the day.

Erza seemed to notice my surprised look, because she started to speak right after she glanced at me, "His name is Happy."

I looked at her, "Happy?"

Erza nodded and smiled, "Yes. He is Natsu's loyal partner and best friend. Natsu even raised him when he was just a kitten."

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Natsu...a father? Well that's something you don't hear very often, especially me. "Who are the others?"

"The one with the purple dress chugging beer like it's nothing is Cana. She's a noble and the best drinker we have in the south. That broad man over there, the one with the white hair, that's Elfman. He's one of the generals that works for the king. So is the lady with the black dress. Her name is Mirajane. The younger one—also with white hair—is the second-in-command of Mirajane's squad. She helps her with running her part of the army. Her name is Lisanna. Most of us are generals since we are the main fighters of our organization, but some of us are also nobles who serve within the law of the land," Erza explained. More people came as she told me who each person was. She even introduced me to some of the south's commanders, generals, nobles, and fighters. Of course, they all glared at me at first, but after chatting with them, it's like I already know them. There was this one girl, Levy was her name, who loved books as much as I did. We became friends almost instantly and talked whenever we had the chance. I got along with everybody so well. I never thought I'd actually fit in, in a place outside of my own. It's a first for everything, right?

Fairy Tail isn't that bad, actually. It's definitely happier and more carefree than the people of my kingdom. Was this why Natsu and Gray wanted me to join? Did they want me to feel happy, instead of stressed out? I am a foolish girl for thinking that a dragon would go to such lengths to make me happy...

But maybe I am foolish for thinking that a dragon cannot make me happy.

Is it possible? Can I really just take all of this weight from my shoulders and fly? Can I really just be free and away from the ground for once?

Can I really join Fairy Tail? And if I can, would Natsu accept me as a true member?

Would he accept me as part of his family?

We are number one!

Those words, again and again. They are changing who I am.

But in a good way.
