Drake entered the pool of water with the Dark Wizard Yul.

They were teleported into a tomb.

Yul conjured up a fire with his Wand, bright enough to illuminate the whole tomb.

"I know this place," Drake said to Yul. "This is where Merlin was buried. I also know that this tomb has all sorts of magical traps."

"You are right, child," Yul said to Drake. "The tomb was laid out with all magical traps. Traps that can slice a man open. Traps that can explode on contact but not collapse the tomb. All kinds. Especially designed to destroy anyone who dare venture in this tomb. But those traps are disabled in the presence of two magical objects. Objects that contain the most powerful magic."

"And now," Drake started. "We hold those objects. The Wand of Fate, and the Staff of Destiny."

"You are correct, child. Now let us go to where the final magical object is."

Destroying Fiedith will be hard. The Kingdom will gather all of its allies to defend itself. Surely, the Elves will join Fiedith. The Dwarves can be persuaded. So Drake, using the Staff's powers, returned Yul's soul into the world from the afterlife to enlist him to his Legion of the Dark. And he's going to do it again.

They are now in front of a spiral staircase, made of stone. It extends to the top of the large rock in the tomb.

Both Yul and Drake conjured the Wind. They were rising into the air, a tornado under their feet. And then they reached the top.

At the top of the rock was a stone coffin, with runes all over it.

"This is where Merlin was buried," Yul told Drake.

"And now, I'm going to bring him back," Drake said.

There was a sentence on the top of the coffin. It is written in the language like the runes.

"I can't read this," Drake said. "Can you read this?" he asked Yul.

"I think I can remember the Old Language," he said to Drake.

Yul moved in front of the coffin, and read, slowly, "This is where the Wizard Merlin is buried. Buried by his enemies."

At the bottom of the top of the coffin is another set of words. Yul approached them and read again, slowly, "The coffin's keys are the W and the S. Nothing can open it but the W and the S."

"The coffin's keys are the Wand and the Staff," Drake repeats. "Nothing can open it but the Want and the Staff."

Yul returned to his position near Drake. He aimed the Wand into the coffin. Drake did the same with the Staff.

Drake counted, "One, two, three!"

Short beams of magic were released from the Staff and the Wand, aimed at the coffin.

The runes glowed for a while, and it projected the words, in the Old Language. It was too fast and it vanished.

"Did you get that," Drake asked Yul.

"I just read the first word, and then it's gone," Yul said to Drake. "The first word said 'You'."

But then, the runes glowed once more, projecting again words, but this time, in the Common Language.

The words said, "You have opened the Dark."

"Finally," Drake said.

The top of the coffin floated, removing the cover of the coffin, and then vanished.

Both Yul and Drake moved forward to the coffin. They saw the skeleton remains of Merlin, and in the skeleton's hands, the final magical object Drake needs.
