(y/n) POV
I woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside my window. It was the best sleep I've had in days after the...you know. I groggily walk down the stair to the first floor to the dining table, where my brothers were eating. "Good morning." I greeted as I rubbed the sleep from my eyes. They looked at me and smiled, "good morning, (y/n). Any plans today?" "I'm going to the Dragon Academy today. Hiccup invited me to join." I replied as I grabbed an apple from a basket of fruit on the table. "Ok. I'll be going around the village to talk to our people to how they are doing." Leif said. "Alvis and I will be at the forest to train." Brant said eagerly while Alvis just nodded his head and drank his coffee (was there coffee then?).
"Ok! I'll see you guys later!" I said as I waved goodbye to them. I walked out to see Moonbeam sitting in front of me. Wagging her tail while her tongue was sticking out, I laughed at how excited she was and said, "you're excited to see Toothless aren't you, girl?" she rubbed her head against my stomach and purred. I laughed as I got on her saddle and then we flew off to the Dragon Academy.
Hiccup's POV
It was finally morning. I got out of bed while Toothless followed suit. "Morning, mom." I said when I saw her sitting at the table as Toothless and I walked down the stairs. She looked at me and smiled, "morning, son. So, what do you have planned today?" "Well, I'm going to the Dragon Academy today." I said as I sat down. I grabbed a loaf of bread and a piece of fish then gave it to Toothless. "But there's no dragon training today. What are you up to?" she said as she squinted her eyes at me with her arms folded on the table. "Nothing! I just invited (y/n) to join me at the Dragon Academy." I said as I raised both my hands. She chuckled then she stood up, "ok then, I'm off to the dock. The fishing boats need help." we said our goodbyes and mom was off with Cloudjumper. I watched them fly away when I felt Toothless nudged my back. I looked at him and he was wagging his tail while his tongue was sticking out. "Wow, someone is excited to see Moonbeam." I chuckled as I got on his saddle and then we flew off to the Dragon Academy.
(y/n) POV
Moonbeam and I made a pit stop at the dock . Moonbeam hasn't eaten yet since there is no fish at home. As we walked along on the dock, I could hear people whispering about me. "I heard she has magical powers that can bring more resources to the village." "I'm a little scared. What if she turns against us?" "Can she really do it?" that is what most of them keep saying. But, I felt something odd, a feeling of emptiness. I stopped in front of a small boat that just docked.
"Hello there, (y/n)" "hi, Bucket! Hi, Mulch!" I said as I waved at them. "Did you catch anything yet?" Mulch sighed and shook his head. "There hasn't been any fish for days." Bucket said. I knew it! The ocean was awfully quite. I didn't want to be a burden to the village that has welcomed us so warmly so upset. So, I walked over to the edge of the dock and looked at sea. I could hear people whispering, "What's she doing?" I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. Then, when I felt a cool breeze blow past me, I opened my eyes and bent down to touch the surface of the ocean. Please bring the fishes back to Berk. There was a moment of silence, then I heard the sound of splashing in the distance. I stood up and looked at the horizon. Everyone gasped, swarms of fishes were swimming towards Berk. "I did it." I whispered to myself.
Moonbeam flew to the fishes and started to feast. Then, the boats started to sail towards the incoming swarm of fish. "Thank you, (y/n)!" I heard Bucket and Mulch yell as they sailed away. I just smiled and waved at them. I sat there at the edge of the dock as I waited for Moonbeam. All of a sudden, people came up to me and started shaking my hand and saying "thank you". Moonbeam must have seen the commotion and flew over and growled at them. All of them stepped back. "Shhh. It's ok." I whispered to her as I pet her head until she relaxed. I got on her saddle and looked as the people and said, "You're welcome." Then we flew off towards the Dragon Academy. Again.
Hiccup's POV
When Toothless and I landed at the Academy, the gang was there. I got off Toothless' saddle and asked them, "What are you guys doing here?" they looked at each other then said "nothing" in unison. I shook my head and was about to speak when I heard someone land behind me. I turned around to see (y/n) dismounting from her dragon. She is so pretty. Realising what I just thought, I mentally slapped myself and walked up to her. "Welcome to the Dragon Academy, (y/n)." I said as I gestured to the place. She giggled and said, "thank you, Hiccup." She said my name so sweetly. We looked into each other's eyes for a moment but we were interrupted by a certain someone.
"OK! Fishlegs will give you a tour of the place." Astrid said as she pushed Fishlegs in front of (y/n). I was shocked and so was Fishlegs. I was about to protest when Astrid said, "Hiccup and I need to patrol the village to see if anyone needs help. So, bye!" as Astrid forcefully tried to push me out, my eyes met with everyone. They pretended to not see, unbelievable! Then, my eyes met with (y/n) pair of bright (e/c) eyes. Then (y/n) said, "Astrid, you shouldn't force him to leave with you."
Everyone gasped. I felt Astrid stop pushing and let go of me. I turned around to see Astrid looking down at (y/n). (Astrid is taller than you) Then, Astrid grabbed her axe and swung it at (y/n).
"Ahhhhh!" Astrid screamed as she charged towards (y/n).
