➳ Scarlett

4:53 pmIt's been a few days since I've seen Cameron. I've been noticing he has been absent from school, not by the pool and I tried to knock on his door earlier today. He may be a player but I consider him as my first friend on this ship so therefore, I'm gonna be worried about him.
I walk over to the juice bar and grab a pina colada smoothie and sit in a pool chair.
"Is this seat taken?" Someone asks. I open my eyes too see a very pretty girl with brown hair and brown eyes.
She was kind of short but not too short.
"No, no ones sitting there." I said, giving a polite smile. "I'm Camila, Camila Cabello. You pronounce it like Cam-Ella." She smiled.
"I really like your name, I'm Scarlett Banks." I said as she sat down. "Any cute boys you like yet?" She smirked. By the looks of our conversation I can already tell that we will be good friends by the end of this school year.
"No not really, how about you?" I asked. "Well I came from Miami and so was this guy named Aidan on the cruise. We've been talking since the sixth grade and I've never had the guts to ask him out but yeah, I have a crush on him." She said and took a bite of her sandwich.
"I think you should just go for it and ask him out, what's the worst that could happen?" I suggested.
"That's actually a really good idea." She softly smiled.

6:24 pm
I'm currently in my room, too lazy to get up and actually do something in my life. I miss home.
After my dad passed away, I've always been close to my mom but our relationship faded once she got a boyfriend.
My mothers boyfriend is an alcoholic. He has gotten physically abusive with me but not too the point where it was deadly.
The only reason why I haven't call the child protection services is for one reason, and one reason only; being separated from my mom.
If they separated me from my mother, they would most likely put him in jail as well and then my mom will have no one.
I love my mom too much to do that.
Unfortunately, I couldn't call my mom because her cell phone broke a few weeks ago and can't afford to get it fixed quite yet.
Otherwise, I would definitely be calling her for reassurance that she is ok.
As I was getting up to start my math homework, there was a knock on the door.
"Who is it?" I asked. "Cameron." He said. I slightly smiled and opened the door. "What do you want, loser?" I smirked, playing around. "I have a present for you." He smiled.
"Really?" I asked. He nodded and handed me a small gift wrapped in Hannah Montana wrapping paper.
I chuckled, "nice wrapping paper." He chuckled briefly and I opened the gift up after taking off the wrapping paper.
It was a bracelet. "Thanks Cameron." I smiled, hugging him from the side. "Your welcome, let me help you put it on." He offered.
I smiled and handed him the bracelet and my wrist.
As he put it on, I noticed he kept touching my wrist and fingers, it was awkward, but there was one thing I love about it.
It gave me a feeling of comfort.
It gave me butterflies in my stomach.
****September 7th, 2015; Sunday
9:04 amI randomly woke up very early on a Sunday which was unusual because it's, well, a Sunday.
Honestly I don't want to have human interaction with anyone today but that's inevitable due to the fact there's over 345 students on this ship.
I got up, stretching. I trudged over to the bathroom and hopped in the shower.
Once I was done with showering, I threw on a pair of shorts and a flowy sweater on, then put my hair into a ponytail. I had a sudden bad feeling in my stomach that wouldn't go away.
I held onto the corner of the counter and put my hand on my stomach, hoping somehow it will contain the pain.
I started breathing heavily due to the pain. Someone knocked on the door.
"It's open." I said, screaming a bit. They walked in and I turned around seeing Camila. "Hey girl." She said. "Hey." I said, turning back over into my position I was previously in.
"Hey, what's wrong?" She said rushing over to me. "I-I don't know my stomach just hurts really bad." I explained.
"Maybe you should drink some water." She offered, rummaging through her purse for a water bottle. She managed to find one and handed it to me.
I drank a few sips, feeling better as water got into my stomach. "That helped a lot." I smiled, thanking her. "Good, now we have some shopping to do." She winked, putting the bottle of water back into her purse.
