"Please, just let me explain. I mean no harm," Jay pleaded.
"How do you know my name?" Barry asked.
"I know all your names," Jay said. "Caitlin Snow, Cisco Ramon, Detective Joe West--"
"Enough," Joe said loudly, continuing to point his gun. "That part about explaining needs to happen right about now."
"This world is in danger."
"What other worlds are there?" Cisco asked.
"When you created the singularity above Central City, you also created a breach between my world and yours," he explained.
Parker raised her eyebrows, connecting the dots. "Breach. Like a portal?"
"Yes, a portal connecting our two earths," Jay clarified.
"And what precisely is your concern?" Martin wondered.
"A few days ago, you found a dead man named Al Rothstein at the nueclar plant. But then a different All Rothstein tried to kill you."
"Atom Smasher," Cisco said.
"That man was from my world. If he got through the breach, I suspect there will be more to follow," Jay warned.
Parker stepped out from behind Barry, looking at the man curiously. His story seemed legitimate, even without much elaboration.
"Okay, so, Jay, how exactly do you know all this?" Barry asked skeptically.
Again, Jay took a glance at Parker's hat. "Where I come from, I was a speedster like you. They called me the Flash."
"Duh, duh, duhhh," Parker said. She pouted when she received nothing but blank stares. "Sorry. Continue, Mr. Garrick."
"Jay," he insisted, sharing a smile with her. "Before I arrived on your Earth, I was in a fight with a man named Zoom."
"Zoom?" Barry repeated. "I've heard that name before. Atom Smasher, he said Zoom sent him here to kill me. Who is this guy?"
"He's a speedster, like you and me, and fast-- maybe the fastest of all. But evil. He is an unstoppable demon with the face of death. We were engaged in our fiercest battle yet, racing throughout my city, but I wasn't fast enough to stop him. Zoom had me beat. He was about to kill me, when suddenly, there was a blinding light and the sky split open."
"Our singularity," Parker guessed.
"A breach between the world's, caused by the singularity. It pulled me in, and I somehow ended up in your world, powerless, and unable to return home."
"What do you mean?" Caitlin asked.
"I lost my speed."
"How?"
"Not entirely sure."
"You've been in Central City for six months. Why haven't you come to see us before?" Joe asked.
"I'm in a foreign world, Detective. Took me that long to piece it all together."
"That's how you know our names. You've been following us," Iris said.
"Look, I know how this sounds. The existence of another earth, you, another Flash, it all came as an unexpected shock to me, too," Jay sympathized. He shook his head, defeated. "I just wish there was something I could do to convince you."
"There is," Barry chimed. "We're going to do some tests on you, see if you're telling the truth.." As he spoke, he walked closer to Jay, his eyes darkening. "Because if you're not.. This Zoom isn't gonna be your only enemy."
