Hermione's POV

I woke up under a heavy blanket and looked around the room. Man, it was really dark in here.

I noticed a child's crib in the corner and a figure laying on the floor.

Suddenly, the insignificant events of last night came rushing back to me. Malfoy must have moved Cassie into his own room, and didn't want to sleep in my room.

I looked at the clock next to Malfoy's bed. 6:45 am. And it was only Wednesday. This week was dragging out very slowly and I just couldn't wait for it to be over.

Before I could stop myself, my eyes closed again and I drifted back into sleep. The next thing I knew, I heard crying.

Draco's POV

The first thing I realized when I woke up was that I was extremely uncomfortable. The second thing I noticed was that my daughter was crying hysterically.

"What the bloody hell?" I muttered to myself, getting up from my spot on the floor. Why was I on the floor in the first place? And why was Cassie in my room?

I peered over my bedpost and saw Granger's figure sprawled across my bed. Oh... I reminded myself. Last night. And don't get any mixed ideas when I say that, Granger couldn't even hit this if she tried.

I'm so clever.

I picked up Cassie and cradled her in my arms while looking for something to wake Granger up with. In the end I just gave up and started to poke her with my wand. She didn't even flinch.

I took in a deep breath before yelling into her ear, "GRANGER GET OUT OF MY BED!"

She screamed and smacked me in the face, sending me back a few steps. She looked around frantically.

"What the hell Malfoy!" I shrugged. "Get out of bed, we have to go to class."

"I think I'm going to skip today," she plainly said. I looked at her with mock-horror.

"The great Hermione Granger?" I gasped. "Skipping classes?"

She rolled her eyes and I couldn't help but smirk. "Oh shut it," she muttered.

"Fine then, I'll tell my friends we're going to do something fun."

Granger raised her eyebrows. "We?"

"Yes, we. I'm not taking care of Cassie alone in class and there's no way I'm leaving her with you, so get used to having us around Granger," I winked. She rolled her eyes again. Merlin, someday those eyes are going to get stuck staring at that enormous brain of hers.

"Alright whatever," she said getting out of my bed. "I'll be down in five minutes."

"You mean 45 minutes?" One thing I've learned from dating every single girl in the school is that when a girl says "5 minutes", it's not actually five minutes.

Granger swatted my arm and walked into the bathroom. I smirked. Messing with her was so fun. But not in the way I used to when I was an immature prat. Not purposely trying to make her feel bad about herself. Just you know, playful banter.

Did I just use that word? Playful banter? I hit myself in the head. "Stupid," I muttered to myself. Cassie looked up at me and pointed at me, saying some random baby gibberish. I smiled at her. I couldn't help but think that other than my hair color and eyes, she had Granger's features. And it didn't make me want to puke. It just made her look even better.

WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU THINKING DRACO!!! I screamed in my head. SHE'S GRANGER!!!

"Yeah, that was stupid," I muttered again.

"Malfoy, stop talking to yourself, or I'm going to take you down to St. Mungo's!" Granger's voice rang from the bathroom. It was my turn to roll my eyes. Why did I invite her to hang out with my friends?

Because she's the mother of your child the voice in my head said. I looked at myself horrifically in the mirror. There was definitely something seriously wrong with me today.

A/N Sorry it's been a while, but I was kind of thinking what to do for this chapter. Heads up: the next chapter might be updated soon or in a while because I want to make it nice and long so it depends on when I have time.
