It was a dark frosty night. The clouds covered the entire sky. My parents thought it was a good idea to go out but somehow my dad had gotten us lost. My mom has been fighting with him ever since we left the house. You see, my mom wanted to go see her sister but there was traffic on the highway so my dad took the back roads. Along the way he took a wrong turn, and ended up in the forest, or at least that's what I thought. We were surrounded than more than hundreds of trees. It seemed like time itself had stopped. We had been going so fast the trees that surrounded us seemed like a black wall. The only light within miles of us had been our own headlights. My brothers were asleep at this time while I stayed silent listening to my parents arguing wether they had a chance. I sighed. My parents had been fighting like this ever since my birthday. That was when everything in the car went silent and the only noise you heard was the tires on the rocky road.
"Look!" I said in shock as I pointed to a light I saw which was not two miles away from us. My parents seemed to relax then knowing that soon we would be out of the depths of these woods. We began to slow down as we got closer to the light. When we came to a stop I knew we had found the road again. My dad began to turn right when a car came speeding towards us and hit us from the opposite direction. I screamed but stopped when my body got numb. Before I closed my eyes and let myself die, I looked out the window and saw a man running to us with his phone in his hand. I saw a flash then there was nothing but darkness.
