"Harry, can you tell me what I was like before this happened?"
He smirked as it looked like he was getting lost in his memories.
"You were very interesting the first time I met you ,which was in a record store. I saw you standing there looking through the box. I couldn't keep my eyes of of you. I went up to you and pulled out a 1975 record for you and told you it was one of my favourites. You smiled and asked if we could go get some coffee after. That day changed my whole life. You did. You were very different from any other girl I've met. You were so..... Real and alive. You loved to paint and said one day that you want to own your own art studio. You strived to meet that goal. You pushed and pushed everyday to make your paintings better. I noticed earlier that there are some new paintings over there. Do you remember how?"
I glanced back over where my paintings were. Oh! No! They were the paintings of Harry! I forgot that they were still here! I could feel my cheeks heat up as I slowly turned back to see a smirking Harry with his eyebrows raised.
"U-umm y-y-eah....... I...I... Do remember how." I stuttered from embarrassment.
Harry chuckled and got up from his chair, picking up the painting on the floor.
"It's ok! It think they're absolutely amazing... I always did. I think it looks exactly like me!" He said while holding it up to his face, grinning.
I chuckled from his actions. I immediately stopped when I thought of something. Harry noticed and set the painting down and came to sit next to me wrapping an arm around me, comforting me.
"What's wrong, love?"
I smiled at his British accent.
"Um.... I just miss my family. It hurts to know that I had a family and don't even remember them or what they are like. Why was I the one that lived? It wasn't supposed to end like that!" I said while tears started to drip down my pale cheeks.
"Oh..... Don't cry darling. I hate when you cry. It pains me. Your family were really nice people and you all got along. That's all you need to know really. Your got your artistic skills from your mother if you were wondering. She was a great painter and so are you." He smiled.
"Thanks. Harry I have something to tell you..."
He nodded for me to continue.
"After the crash I started to get flashes or memories I guess. I can't really explain how they were. But they were of you. Every Time I got them you were with somebody but they were blurred out and all I saw was you. You looked happy in them. That's why I was unconscious in the snow. I sometimes wake up in a strange place after I had one. Sometimes the memories had take me to the place that it was set in. I had a memory of you here with a person. I was just wondering if I was the only person you ever brought there?"
"Yeah, you were."
"I'm the girl in the flashes!"
I remember the first one where Harry was holding my hand in his. We were just walking but we looked like we had fun. The way he looked at me was the best thing in the world. He looked like he really cares for me. Then I had to go and break his heart by forgetting every moment with him. I sighed as I saw that Harry was concerned.
"What's wrong?"
"I ruined your life, Harry. I took everything from you. I also took you away from myself. Me getting into that car crash was the worst thing that could ever happen to us. It was The way you looked at me Harry! Why did you do this to me." I Sobbed.
He pulled me in and wrapped his large arms around me squeezing me tight making sure that it's okay. I felt safe with Harry. I knew just then that if anything ever happened, Harry would always be there.
"It's okay, Hailey. You didn't ruin our lives at all! Don't think like that, ever! You were the best thing that's ever happened to me and you still are because I have you in my arms right now. We can start over. Just think of it as a replay button. I still want to be with you even though what happened to you. It doesn't change a thing!" He sternly said not taking his gaze off mine.
"Why didn't you tell me that you were getting your memories back?" He questioned.
"I'm not getting any other memory other than the memories we had together. I don't remember anything else other than you." I answered.
He smirked as his dimples popped out of his cheeks perfectly. He looked down as he saw that I was starring at him. His cheeks turned a vibrant shade of pink. I noticed that he started to stare back. We had our glazes locked on each other.
"I..I..I love you, hailey." He mumbled, but I could understand it enough to know what he just said.......
