16) He Did What?

//Authors note// just a quick reminder! When you see "Haileys flash" that means that she is having a flash back or memory. Whatever you want to call it ..but she is in fact remembering something that happened before the car crash.

Hailey
Rain dripped down the windows of the bus, leaking through the tiny crack in the glass, forming a tiny puddle of water on the floor. It was silent besides the pitter patter of the rain hitting the top of the bus. My thoughts were also silent until now. I couldn't just get on a bus without knowing where I'm going. I should have just stayed a couple days in Tilly until I figured things out. My breathing became heavy, I felt my heartbeat pump faster, I couldn't move.

Then everything went black.......

Hailey's Flash
There I stood wearing a tight black dress standing beside a guy. I couldn't quite make out his face. We were sitting across from each other at a restaurant. A Really fancy restaurant. It looked like the guy was talking to me but I couldn't hear what he was saying. He suddenly started digging through his right pocket in his black suit coat. He pulled out a small black box and opened it. He said something again this time, but I could hear him clearly. "Hailey, I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I love you so much and I can't think of a life without you. Will you marry me Hailey? It was Harry's husky voice that said that. It was Harry. He proposed to me?

Suddenly it all went away and I was back on the bus.

I..I I need to see Harry. I need to go back right now. I have to apologize for whatever I did to make him this upset. I touched my face not knowing that I was already sobbing my eyes out. I wiped away some tears before I got up to tell the bus that I need to go back home. He understood since their was nobody else on the bus. I told him where to go and then sat back down.

In that very moment I knew what I felt for Harry. I remember how much I cared for him and how much he cares for me. I never want to leave him or hurt him in anyway because now I know that I...

Harry
A month and a half. That's how long it's been since I've seen Hailey. That's how long it's been since I've exited my house. Haven't even stepped foot out the door. I haven't showered in a couple a days and all I do is lay on the couch doing nothing. No thoughts at all until today. All I keep thinking about is Hailey. Why was I so stupid? Why did I push her away that day at the beach? Just because of something really stupid. It's not her fault she can't remember what happened. But then I had to go and screw everything up. I ran her out of town by myself.  What if she met somebody new? What if she's hurt and I don't know about it? What if she's all the way across the world where I can't hurt her anymore? And what if she doesn't like me anymore? Did I ruin it forever? Will she come back? All these questions make me realize something. I need to find her. I have to find Hailey. I got up in a hurry. I'm gonna find her and tell her that I was a complete idiot and that I love her so much. I fix my hair and put on clean clothes. I grab my keys and just when I'm about to leave I realize that I don't know where I'm going. She could be anywhere by now.

How am I supposed to find her?
