11) Birthday part 2

My clothes were basically everywhere by now. I knew Harry said to just dress casual, but I wanted to look good today. It's my birthday. In fact my 17th birthday. I want it to be special and I really think Harry will make it special for me. I finally just gave up and threw on a white tank top and jean shorts since it was really hot outside today. I grabbed an elastic from the bathroom and put my hair in a messy, but classy, bun today.

"Hey, I forgot to tell you that you will be needing you bathing suit today." Harry was standing at the foot of my door smirking.

"Well you could have told me that before I got dressed!" I threw my arms up in the air with frustration.

"Sorry, princess Hailey. I will never forget again." We both giggled.

"Okay okay. Let me change now sir.Harold. I'll be down in a minute." Harry nodded and left the room.

I scattered threw my pile of clothes then finally found my favourite bikini. I put it on underneath my clothes then went downstairs.

"So... We're going swimming today?" I asked.

"How'd you know?" Harry turned around quickly.

"Well telling me to bring my bathing suit was kind of a give away you idiot" I laughed.

"Oh yeah! I forgot. Whatever, you were going to find out anyway." Harry shrugged.

"Did you want something to eat before we leave?"

"Nah. I'm fine."

"Okay. Lets get our beach on then! Woo!"Harry shouted while he opened the door.

"Harry, promise me you never do that again." I said very sternly but I was trying to hold back my laughter.

"What! I thought it was cute." Harry pouted.

"Just get in the car." I pointed to the car and pushed him forward.

We drove for about 20 minutes then we were at the beach. Not that many people were there, which was surprising because it was such a hot day. The water looked so blue and refreshing, I just had to run in it. Before Harry knew it I ran past him while taking of my tank top and shorts. I threw them on the sand and slashed in the water. I laughed when I hear Harry.

"Hey! Wait for me!" He took of his clothes and ran after me. He ran in the water slashing water in every direction. He came closer and picked me up and threw me over his shoulder.

"Harry what the hell! Put me down" I slammed my fist on his back.

"Nope. Not until you say your sorry."

"For what? I didn't do anything."

"For leaving me behind back there."

"Oh you big baby! HAROLD JUST PUT ME DOWN."

"Fine." Harry was gently putting me down until he threw me back over his shoulder and into the water.

"Oh you little......" I was straight on ready to kill this son of a bitch. I started to chase after him and slash water in his face.

"Yeek!" Harry screamed like a little girl. I couldn't help but laugh.

I caught him and climbed on top of him but I failed of course. He was so damn slippery. I slipped off into the water. He pulled me up and we both started to laugh. Our laughs drew quieter and we both just stood there starring at each other. Harry came closer to me. Oh. No. He's gonna kiss me. Am I ready for that? Wait what am I talking about... of course I am. I knew I liked Harry a while ago. I'm damn ready for this.

Harry took my hair and pulled it behind my ear.

"It's getting dark, we should probably go home." Harry said while deeply starring into my eyes.

WAIT WHAT! HE DIDN'T KISS ME!

"Umm.. Yeah let's go"

"I thought maybe we could watch a movie when we get home. Is that fine?"

"Uh. Ya! That sounds perfect!" We grabbed our stuff and headed home.

The ride home was just me and my thoughts. Why didn't Harry kiss me? Doesn't he like me? Did I scare him away?

What if I can never be with Harry again?

Hey guys! I updated! Yay! I know I suck at updating and I'm sorry but I'll try to get better at it. But I see that lots of people are reading Moments in time so I decided to keep going with it.
