Andrea’s POV

I looked into his beautiful brown eyes and moved his hair out of his face. “Dahvie, you know I love you. But I don’t know if I can trust you.” I said. “I understand Andrea. But please think about it.” He said. I nodded. I headed inside and told my boss I was leaving. She understood and said good luck. I told Jeffree I was leaving and he nodded. They decided to stay a bit longer. I grabbed Dahvie from his bus and took him to my apartment. “Where we going?” he asked. “To my place. I have missed you and I want to spend some time with you.” I said. He nodded and sat on my couch. I changed into fuzzy zebra shorts and my Mod Sun tye dye hoodie. I made some popcorn and grabbed some Monster. I put on The Notebook and sat down next to Dahvie. He smiled and started throwing popcorn at me. “Oh are we really gonna do this right now?” I asked. He smiled and stopped. “That’s what I thought. We all know who would win.” I said. He chuckled and took a sip of the Monster I grabbed. I put my feet on his lap and we watched the movie. By the end I was crying. “Andrea, what’s wrong?” he asked. “I honestly believed that could be us Dahvie. We end up being in a nursing home together, you come curl up with me one night and we hold hands and we died peacefully together in our sleep.” I said still crying. “Andrea, that can still be us.” He said rubbing my back. I looked up at him and smiled weakly. I place my hand on his cheek and pushed him back. I laid my chest on his and cuddled up to him. He rubbed my back. “I love you Andrea.” He said kissing my head. I looked up at him with tears in my eyes. “Dahvie, I can’t do this right now. Please don’t. Just be my best friend right now.” I said. He sighed and nodded. It killed me that I was doing this to him but I wasn’t ready to be with him again. I soon fell asleep on my couch with him. I woke up in the morning and found him gone. Of course he was gone. He couldn’t even wake me up to say goodbye. My face became hot and tears formed in my eyes. I screamed out and threw a vase across the room. I soon broke down crying. I finally calmed down and cleaned up the glass. I got ready for school and headed off. I grabbed a quick coffee from Starbucks and headed into my class. “Morning Andrea.” My friend Jess chimed. “Morning gorgeous.” I said. I handed her my coffee and she took a quick sip. “How was your night?” she asked. “Eventful. Can we talk about it later over lunch?” I asked. She nodded and hugged me tightly. Our professor Mr. Sullivan walked in and I turned to face him. He was an amazing teacher. He was close to our age too so he understood how we all felt about school which was nice. He was kind of cute but I wasn’t attracted to him. I looked down at my notebook and started to doddle as he lectured us. I ended up drawing a tree with a girl sitting up high. The tree had a million branches and was in full bloom. I put cut marks on the girl’s wrists and had the blood seeping down the tree. I had her hair cover her face. I had her parents standing below the tree looking for her. I wrote around the picture “she sits up high, surrounded by the sun. Mom and dad did you search for me? I’ve been up here so long I’m going crazy.” Class was soon over and I was happy. I just wanted to go to my painting class and paint what I just doodled but of course Mr. Sullivan stopped me. “Andrea, are you okay? You seem off today.” He said. I shook my head. “I’m fine. Just family problems.” I said. He nodded and rested his hand on my shoulder. “If you ever need someone to talk to I’m always here.” He said. I smiled and nodded. I left his room and felt creeped out. I heard my phone go off screaming bitch pick up your fucking phone. I laughed and answered. “Hi Jayybear.” I said smiling. “Hi girlie. I miss you. Sorry I literally had to drag Dahvie out of your apartment this morning because we had to leave.” He said. Dahvie didn’t leave me. That made me smile. “It’s okay. I miss you guys already.” I said. “Come to us on Thanksgiving break.” He said. “I will I promise. Can I tell you something and you promise not to tell anyone.” I said. “Ya, what’s going on?” he asked. “My teacher is kind of acting a little too friendly with me and it is creeping me out.” I said. “Andrea, you need to tell your dean if he is. I don’t like that at all. If I could I would come get you and not let you go back. I don’t want my baby girl to get hurt.” He said. “Thanks Jayybear. I miss my cuddle buddy already.” I said. “I miss you too Andy Pandy.” He said. “Love you. Talk to you later.” I said. “Love you too. Byeeaz.” He said. I smiled as I put my phone away. I headed back to my apartment to get ready for work. I walked in and instantly saw my Uncle. “UNCLE DEREK!” I yelled. “ANDREA!” he yelled capturing me in a bone crushing hug. “What are you doing here?” I asked. “Well you see me and Pat are going on tour with Never Shout Never, Man Overboard, and Me Like Bees.” He said. “And you’re here to talk to Chris.” I said. “Yep.” He said. “Where’s Pat?” I asked. He pointed to the balcony. I dropped my bag and snuck outside. I jumped on Pat’s back and hugged him tightly. “Hi Andrea.” He said kissing my cheek. “I missed you so much.” I said nuzzling my head into his neck. “I missed you too.” He said. When me and Dahvie broke up a month later me and Pat tried dating but we decided on staying friends. “ARE YOU GONNA SMOKE WITH US?” Chris yelled out. “I WISH I HAVE WORK!” I yelled back. I sighed and went to get ready as they started to smoke. I waved goodbye and headed to work.
