Bella

The hole in my chest threatened to consume me. I wiped my tears furiously as I sped down the road in my truck. But it was no use. The scene replayed in my mind continuously causing a fresh trail of tears to form.

Flashback.

I had just parked in front of the Cullen Home. I made my way inside. There was no one home but I could hear moaning voices from upstairs. I shuddered at the thought of Emmett and rose at it. I made my way to Edwards room and frowned as I found the voices were coming from there. I opened the door and stood shocked at the scene. Edward, my love, my life was having sex with Leah of all the people. "Edward" I whimpered. They jumped apart and covered themselves looking at me in shock and then sadness. "bella pls listen to me. " he said reaching out for me. "she is my mate Bella. Leah imprinted on me. " I was stunned. I just llooked down n handed him his ring and giving them a glance and Leah a small smile said, "all the best then. U deserve it. Each other. Keep safe and take care. "

I came out of the flashback and turned to my lane. Something was very wrong. I could feel it. It was then that I saw Paul waiting in the driveway. As I approached him I saw his eyes were bloodshot and sue was crying. "what's the matter? " I asked hesitantly. "bella I am sorry. So sorry. I was patrolling but didn't catch her soon enough. We did kill her but. .." "but what Paul. ?" I asked. They had killed Victoria. Shouldn't we be celebrating?? "bella she got to Charlie and killed him. " he said quietly. I was numb. My dad was dead. He was gone. I fell to the ground sobbing. My friends and family, the pack hugged me. The Cullens came and I rushed to my second father, Carlisle's arms. He whispered soothing words to me and jasper, my brother hugged me. Emmett my brother bear, hugged and cuddled me as Alice soothed my back.
The next few days passed in a blur. We buried my dad and people came to offer condolences. We spread word that he died in a house fire. I saw my house burn down. With my father's body. I stayed at the res so as to avoid running into Edward. Though I had wished him and Leah happiness and truly wanted it. It was hard to see him with someone else. Also I wanted to stay away from my house.
Jacob and his imprint and my human friend, Angela helped me but it was not enough. They were friends. Cullens were my second family but it wasn't enough. I needed someone who was my family. Related by blood or at least real close to it. I knew who I had to call.

So much had changed since my parents death two years back. Jenna and John died. I came to know I was adopted. I came to know about vampires, faced originals and fell in love and found my mate.
Right now I sat with my mate kol in the Salvatore boarding house, all my friends were here along with the originals, even their mother Esther. Since we called ceasefire, we tried getting to know each other.
Kol kissed my forehead and I snuggled into him smiling. Just then my phone rang. I looked at it only to be surprised. It was my cousin Bella. She used to be my best friend. Bonnie, Matt, Caroline, Tyler and Jeremy had smiles on their face knowing who had called while the rest looked curious. She sniffed. I immediately went on alert. "Bella sweety, what happened? Why are u crying? " that had everyone's attention and my friends who knew her stood up and Jeremy snatched the phone and put it on speaker. "izzy what's wrong? What happened Sis? " he asked her. He was super protective of her as I was. She was a bit shy but was just as protective of us. Of the whole gang. "jer.., el..." she cried and my heart broke. All my friends had similar expressions. What was wrong? But her next words had us staggering back and me to Falk to the ground in shock and pain. "Charlie,, he is. He's dead. " she whimpered. I fell to the ground and tears fell from my eyes. Kol was immediately at my side purring me to calm down. Jeremy had a shocked and haunted look around him. The only reason we could cope with our parents and Jenna's death was because we knew Charlie was there. Now we had no one. And Bella. She was all alone there. Too many memories. I miss my dad. Can I come there?? " Bella was asking and sobbing. "Bella hun u don't need to ask. Of course u can. This is your home. We will be waiting Bella. Come home to us. " Tyler said. And ya's and of course resounded through the room.
