Iris POV-
A week has gone by with the boys, and my oh so wonderful family, and it has been more than stressful. The boys have caused nothing but problems and anger. I can't even leave the house without an entire stampede of girls attacking me with their claws. Then, my mother signed me out of school for home schooling without even asking me. Who does she think she is?!
She told me it would be better, because now I can stay around the house and "bond" with the boys. Yeah, right. Those boys don't care anything about "bonding", they want food, and service to them 24/7, and look what they received; Me, yup, they got what they wished for. It makes me utterly sick, how can someone be so lazy, that they have maids doing EVERYTHING for them. Oh wait, One Direction does, they have the easy life, don't have to work too damn hard for anything. Yeah maybe they worked hard to get where they are, but look at me. I work my ass off every day to get good grades. Well I did anyways, now I don’t even know if I will still be accepted to some colleges.
"You know, you have been washing that same dish for the past 15 minutes." I jump to the sound of a voice, and turn my head around to see Zayn sitting at island. "You look mad." he finishes.
"Oh, you know. Just doing everyone else's work." I spit back. "Sir." I rinse off that dish and dry it, and keep at finishing washing the dishes for the twentieth time today.
"Then why did you sign up to be a maid if you knew you were going to give service to other people?" Zayn questions me.
"I didn't sign up for anything. I don't deserve this crap." I say back quietly, hoping he didn't hear that. I look out the window to see my mother laying out in the pool, enjoying her life. Ugh, just how much I hate her.
He doesn't reply back, which could only mean he didn't hear me. I look back over my shoulder to see if he is even still there, he was staring at me with a look of concern on his face.
"What?" I ask him. He shakes his head, as if he was in daze.
"Nothing, that just doesn't make sense." he says look me in the eyes,
"What are you talking about, Sir?" I reply back, turning off the faucet, and turning around leaning on the counter behind me.
"If you didn't sign up to be a maid, then why are you here?" he asks, with an utterly confused look on his face. Damn he did hear me.
I grab the dish towel next to me and dry my hands of trying to come up with something to reply back to him. I look back up to him, to see him still looking at me, waiting for an answer.
"Well.... Lets just say...." I drift off, still not knowing what to say. "Its-"
"Zayn!!!! I need you mate!!" A screeching voice interrupts my lame excuse and I can't be more than thankful. Zayn turns around, and hops off the stool and makes his way into the den, without another word, where Louis screamed for him.
I sigh with relief, and make my way into the dinner room, to clean off the table. I wipe it down quickly, and then go back into the kitchen to throw away the wipe. I look back out the window, to see my mother laughing on the phone. Her blonde hair was up in a messy bun, she was in a bikini that showed off her figure, she was gorgeous, I had to give her credit for that, but her personality made her extremely ugly. She turns around and makes her way toward her cabin in the very back of the yard. Summer was coming fast, and my mom was getting every inch of sun she could. California weather.
I turn around and make my way into living room to head up to see my sister seems how it’s Sunday and she doesn’t have school I can spend a little time with her. I make my way through the threshold that connects the kitchen and the living room.
